Mason and I got together.
The very night we started dating, he posted a photo of me on his social media with the caption: “Let me introduce you to my girlfriend.”
I was planning to pretend I hadn’t seen it, but he had tagged me, so I had to reluctantly reply: “Hello.”
Immediately after, I received a private message from him: “Ms. Bennett, I suggest you watch your words.”

I listened quietly, not commenting. When they finished, I simply said, “I need to go to sleep.”
