The scene of them playing was so heart–warming. Kelvin stood in the darkness, gazing at Tiana’s smile, and his heart turned cold.
He knew her too well. Once she moved on, nothing from the past, good or bad, could affect her anymore.
She loved passionately and left decisively.
But Kelvin still didn’t want to let her go.
After three nights without any sleep, he finally managed to find out where Tiana was. He just needed to have a good chat with her.
But when he saw her so happy, Kelvin hesitated.
When she was with him, Tiana hadn’t laughed like this for a long time.
After much consideration, Kelvin took a step forward.
Immediately, he bumped into Martin who was coming out from inside.
Martin did not step forward. He just stood outside the door and said with a cold and icy tone.
“Mr. Gale, you must want some trouble for the Gale Group so you mess with me so often lately?”
Ever since Tiana came to the Kellet family, Kelvin initially spared no expense in suppressing the Kellet family. However, the Kellet family was too wealthy and powerful. Moreover, Martin was a man of harsh measures. So his effort was in vain.
Later, he even set aside his company and spent day and night searching for Tiana, visiting numerous properties owned by the Kellet family.
He kept stepping over Martin’s boundaries. But Kelvin was not giving up.
“Martin, did you think that creating conflicts between me and Tiana and despicably using Tiana’s mother’s illness could make her stay by your side forever?
“Your efforts to steal her from me would be in vain. Tiana doesn’t love you, and it’s impossible for her to love you.
“Why don’t we make a deal? What should I do before you give her back to me?”
Kelvin spoke very clearly. Martin’s assistant heard it and felt sorry for him. He was well aware of Tiana’s position in Martin’s heart. Whenever it was about Tiana, Martin behaved like a completely different person. Kelvin’s words were simply asking for trouble.
“Huh, you want me to give her back to you?”
Martin sneered and raised his gaze. His eyes were already crimson.
“Kelvin, don’t forget that Tiana was once my girlfriend, and you did everything to seduce her. That’s how you managed to take her from me for a few years.
“However, you are right about one thing. I am indeed a despicable person. I would stop at nothing when it is about Tiana.
“So, think twice before you say things like that next time. I can destroy your enterprise in no time.”
The wind was bone–chilling. Martin walked into the house, while Kelvin was left outside the gate of Kellet House.
He had not slept for three days, his face was haggard, and he had not shaved off the newly grown stubble.
Sitting on the ground, he was like a stray dog, and many people looked at him contemptuously.
Meeting these gazes, he didn’t feel embarrassed. Instead, a trace of hope flashed through his heart.
If Tiana came out and saw how miserable he was, she might be willing to talk to him, and there might be a chance of getting her back.
Just as the thought came, a car of the Gale family drove through the gate. His grandfather, Albert Gale, with a gloomy expression, ordered people to get Kelvin out of there.
