Asher’s POV
I cannot believe that even in the midst of her pain, Bree managed to let us all know that the man with her, needed to stay with her. I will get to the bottom of who exactly he is and why he smells like a rogue in a little bit. He is right, we need to get my sister

into the packhouse and I mindlinked the doctor to grab his bag and bring some pain relief for my sister.
Trode in the back seat of the rogues SUV as he drove Bree up to the packhouse, and I didn’t like how familiar he was with her at all I wanted to be brought up to speed quickly, and I guess we all needed to go to the meeting room right now to get it sorted. I mindlinked everyone to go to the meeting room and watched as he carefully took Bree out of the SUV, and I led the way to the meeting room
asked mom to mindlink the Omegas to make us all something as we would probably be in here for a while and we would probably have our dinner in here as well. We had been in here earlier making plans as we had found two properties that we were going to go and check out tomorrow, to try to get Bree back when she was dropped in our laps.
Bree is placed gently into a chair and when he went to sit next to her, my parents took the chairs on either side instead, but he didn’t say anything. I know he felt like they needed to see her, touch her, to make sure that she was OK. He just took a chair from the wall and moved to about three feet behind her and sat down quietly in it. What in the hell kind of relationship does he have with my sister? I cannot wait any longer and go to the head of the table and ask everyone to get quiet. We need information and we need it now so we can make plans.
“OK, I need to know who you are, how you came to have my sister, and why she cares even an ounce for you, Rogue? I told him, and everyone got quiet as they were all looking at him for answers.
Before he can speak, Bree stands up slowly and said, “First of all, his name is Jaden, and he is the former Beta to Golden Summit
Growling starts sounding around the room and I see Bree hold her hand up, she speaks when it gets quiet again, “Jaden has taken care of me since I was taken. Nico was worried that Shelby was going to try to kill me, as she was very angry that he found his mate. Jaden has been nothing but kind and caring to me, this whole time. I need him with me right now. He was the Beta until about an hour ago after he went to see what had happened at Golden Summit to cause me immeasurable pain. He will tell that part of it. But I went into heat while I was there, and it stopped after the second day and since it usually lasts for four days, I already know I am pregnant with Nico’s baby“.
I am furious with Nico, and I will kill him with my bare hands. Both dad and I told him to keep his dirty hands off of her, but I know how hard it is to ignore the mate bond. I had tried it myself, and it didn’t work at all, I glanced over at Jade, and I see her looking at me and I know I need to tread carefully here before I get my mate pissed off at me again.
“The doctor is coming to check you out Sabrina, he can test you for pregnancy too, honey. Don’t jump to conclusions until we can confirm it baby” my mother tells Bree, and I nod in agreement.
“I will let Jaden tell you what he learned, as he just came and rescued me and brought me back home. Please listen to him. trust him, and I just feel compelled to have him with me. We have a connection, I don’t know why, but he needs to be here, at Stone Moon, with me” Bree tells the group, and they nod in agreement, as no one wanted to upset her.
Jaden stands up and looks around the room, “I heard Sabrina screaming out in pain in the room. I went to check on her and found her on the floor. She had asked Nico to not go back to Golden Summit, as she had a bad feeling about him returning to the pack, but he wanted to get his pack members situated and safe, as his last act. I went to the pack and scaled the wall as Shelby had her men follow me to try to find Sabrina and I didn’t want anyone to be able to follow me, or I wouldn’t be able to keep Bree
I just wanted to ask you, did you have her at 3215 Ridgeway, or 4435 Pleasant Hill?” my father asked Jaden, and with the look of surprise, he had answered that we had the address, and we would have gotten Bree back the next day if we had followed through with our plan.

“We would have been there in the morning if you hadn’t brought her here today, son. I am glad it happened this way, as you might
have been hurt if we had to show up tomorrow” my dad said, and we all nodded because if he tried to prevent us from coming in and getting her, we would have probably killed him.
“Sorry, go ahead with your story. What has happened at Golden Summit for Nico to betray my daughter and their bond?” my father said
Jaden tells us a crazy story about what he found out at Golden Summit. I cannot believe that a human would be able to get this done, and I want to kill the Omega that ruined my sister’s chance at happiness for money. Any she wolf would tell you that they would rather have their mate than another, I am squeezing my nails into my hand, and I am so frustrated and angry over what my sister is having to deal with
My mind is blown as I try to figure out how we can get around this. I am sure it is a powerful spell, and this is going to be difficult to do. We will have to get the witch to lessen the effects of what Sabrina feels or it will kill her. My sister is pretty tough, and I could see her struggling so hard at the gate. She couldn’t even speak, and that has never been a problem for Bree. I heard them speaking to each other, and I see the worry on mom and dad’s faces, and I have no idea what to do to beat this. Or we will have to compel Nico to accept Bree’s rejection, and we will have to force him to do it.
We heard a knock on the door and the pack doctor arrives to check out Bree. Mom gets up and exits with Bree, with Jaden following them out of the room. He was not assigned to her, or a member of this pack yet, but I will allow it. Bree is a good judge of character. If she said that he is a good man, then I will accept her vouching for him. The door shuts and the sound in the room gets a lot louder.
“I am going to kill that son of a b***h, I told him not to touch her, unless he was ready to claim her my dad yells out in frustration. “We need to work on how to get her out of this bond. I know that Shelby was scared of us going to war, it was all over her face. I think we need to get with the werewolf council tonight and make sure that we are still authorized to go to war with Golden Summit, and then surround them. I want Nico to come to the gate and accept Bree’s rejection. The pain that she was in, could kill her or the baby. I don’t think she will make it if this continues, especially if she is pregnant. I don’t love Nico, but I want my grand–pup to be OK“. Dad leaves the room to go and call the council head and make sure that we are good to go, with our plans of war tomorrow.
I agree with what my dad said. We do need to get her out of this bond, and as soon as they come back, I will have the pack doctor run the tests and come back and be with us in the meeting so we can think about all the options we have. We need to be fully informed for us to be able to move forward with this. I will do nothing that would affect my niece or nephew.
I looked up to see Tyler who has just stood up and started to speak to the group, “We will help you, we will go and make Nico accept Bree’s rejection. We will not leave her bound to him and have to feel that kind of pain. Dark Moon will help in any way that we can, Asher, we can have 100 warriors here in the morning, just say the word“.
“I think that would be the best thing to do if the doctor gives us permission for us to go forward with it. I will make sure that if she is strong enough to bear it, she needs to go there to accept the rejection tomorrow. I think waiting longer and allowing her to bear the pain of betrayal over and over again will only cause more stress and potentially cause her to miscarry. My niece or nephew is important to me, and I won’t allow some awful human to take my sister’s pup away from her“.

Before I can speak, I heard a knock on the door and called out, for them to come in. The door opens and I see my cousin, Nicole standing behind the door, sniffing. I frown, what the hell is she interrupting our meeting and I see my Gamma, my uncle Bryan stand up and say, “Nicole, are you OK? Did you come to find me?”
Nicole’s eyes snap to Jaden’s and she heads straight for him saying, “Mate” and Jaden looks just as happy and surprised as he heads to her and said, “Mate“. I guess we just got a new member, as Jaden is not going to be leaving now that he is a member of the family. I see Bree grinning at them in happiness as they keep hugging each other and Jaden keeps sniffing Nicole’s neck. Bryan seems to be OK with it as well, and I guess we know the reason that Bree was so insistent with Jaden staying now, she knew. Just like my whole family loved Jade, with no real reason why they just automatically fell in love with her from the moment they met her
“As I was saying, we need to wait for the doctor’s results, and then we will get our plan together. The Omegas showed up with our food and I motioned to the tables and told everyone to eat while we waited on the results. Until we knew determined that she was pregnant, and when would be the best time for Nico to accept the rejection, we would be on standby on how to get this taken care of.
