“I came to pick you up, of course.” Emma smiled, scanning Nathan’s face. “Are you okay? You look unwell.”
Could something have happened when he was in Attlewich?
“I’m fine,” Nathan responded indifferently, then turned to look at Olivia.
Their gazes unexpectedly met.
He noticed a flicker of panic in her eyes before she quickly looked away.
Benjamin took notice of that and glanced at Olivia, who was hanging her head. He furrowed his brows.
Is it just me, or is there something different going on between Ms. Olivia and Nathan?
He hoped he was just overthinking it.
“Ms. Olivia, are we heading back to the office, or should we go see King?” Benjamin didn’t bother lowering his voice. Instead, he deliberately said that out loud to make sure Nathan heard it.
Nathan’s face fell when he heard King’s name.
Olivia deliberated for a while and replied, “Let’s go visit King.”
Had Benjamin not reminded her, she almost forgot about King.
Indeed, Nathan caught that. She probably didn’t get a good night’s sleep either. I thought she’d return home first thing and get some rest, but she’s going to visit King?
Standing behind Nathan, Ethan could sense his boss‘ annoyance.
Nathan had no idea that Olivia had another reason for visiting King first, which was to talk to Harry in person.
Benjamin glanced up at Nathan, then nodded. “All right.”
Then, without looking back, Olivia got into the car.
Nathan frowned in disbelief.
She didn’t even bother to say goodbye!
Liam, on the other hand, turned to wave goodbye at Nathan. “Bye, Daddy.”
Nathan regained his composure and managed to muster a faint smile. “Bye.”
Liam’s gaze then swept over Emma, who was beside Nathan. The radiant smile on his face disappeared.
Emma glared at Liam gloomily.
Daddy? How audacious of him! If that b*tch Olivia hadn’t taken advantage back then, my child would be calling Nate “Daddy” now!
The more she thought about it, the more resentful she got. She clenched her fists tightly.
However, she dared not let her annoyance show on her face and maintained a forced smile.

With a chuckle, Olivia shook her head and said nothing more.
