Chapter 303 No Good
Norah had always been in poor health. Especially after the death of her youngest son, Terence Monroe, her health took a major hit and deteriorated significantly.
Despite this, she still held a certain degree of influence in the Monroe family.
“Dad, Olivia is, after all, Grandma’s granddaughter. She won’t ignore what Grandma says Samantha stated confidently.

After some thought. Frederick nodded. “It seems like we don’t really have any other choice for now. Let’s head to your grandma’s place tonight.”
Samantha’s face immediately lit up with joy. “All night.”
In the evening. Frederick’s family visited the Monroe residence.
Norah was incredibly fond of her eldest granddaughter, Samantha. The wrinkles on her face would smooth out when she saw her, and she would break into a genuinely joyful smile
“Grandma, you seem much younger than the last time I saw you” Samantha said sweetly
“How can you just blatantly lie like that?” Norah feigned displeasure, shooting her a stern look, but the amusement in her eyes gave away her true feelings.
“I didn’t lie, Grandma. You’re just as youthful as ever,” Samantha said, clutching her arm like a child.
She knew that was what Norah liked best
Norah cheerfully patted Samantha’s hand, then turned her gaze toward Frederick and Hannah. “What brings you here today?”
“Mom, we just came to see you.” Hannah approached, placing the fruit basket she had brought on the table. Then, she gave Samantha a knowing glance.
The latter caught on, taking her cue, and continued “Grandma, there’s something else we’d like to tell you.”
“What is it?”
“Well… Samantha feigned hesitation before finally saying. “Olivia has returned.”
Norah immediately frowned and rebuked, “There’s no need to tell me specifically that she’s back.”
The reaction from her didn’t surprise Frederick’s family at all.
Norah always believed that it was Olivia’s mother who was responsible for Terence’s death.
Initially, she did not allow the two of them to be together. However, Terence was adamant about marrying Olivia’s mother. Unable to dissuade him, she had no choice but to give her consent.
Little did she expect her son to pass away.
She felt that it was that woman who had bewitched her son, leading him to his death.
Over the years, she had never been able to find peace.
Upon hearing the news of Olivia’s return, rather than feeling elated, she was livid. Olivia was no good.
“Grandma, please don’t be upset.” Samantha gently patted her back, a spark of determination in her eyes. “Olivia is no ordinary woman now. She’s running a major corporation.”

Her piercing gaze swept over Frederick and Hannah, and she said irritably, “You two always show up when there’s trouble, don’t you?”
Frederick hastily clarified. “Mom, how could you say that? We came to visit you and just thought we’d fill you in on the
situation.”
“Yeah, Mom, you’ve got us all wrong.” Hannah chimed in.
“Enough, you’re my son. Don’t I know you well enough?” Norah shot him a glance,
Frederick let out an awkward laugh. “No one knows me better than you, Mom”
Being exposed wasn’t really a big deal as they were originally seeking favors from Norah.
Norah straightened her clothes, then asked nonchalantly, “Tell me, what do you want me to do?”
