Chapter 68
Herman leaned lazily against the couch. A tall wine glass was nonchalantly clasped between his long, bony fingers.
He watched his friends messing around with a glint of mirth in his bright eyes.
His customized tweed suit didn’t look feminine on him at all. In fact, it made him look regal and handsome, like the typical popular and rich guy in
novels.
He was considered incredibly attractive, even within the entertainment industry.
He was incredibly sought after within the industry, but he wasn’t a movie star.
He was the CEO of Supersonic Productions and had half of the entertainment industry in his grasp.
Austin sat down next to him. Herman glanced at him and asked, “What made you finally want to join us?”
He never agreed to come out whenever any of them invited him.
The others agreed. “Yeah! You’re becoming more and more of a homebody. We can’t get you to meet us!”
Every time they called him to invite him along, he was either working or at home.
Austin crossed his legs and took the glass Charles handed him before saying, “I’m married, and she keeps a close eye on me.“a
A loud crash echoed in the booth as a liquor bottle slipped and fell from Charles‘ hands.
All of them looked at Austin in shock. Even Herman’s almond–shaped eyes were full of surprise.
Charles made a shocked noise and said, “What the hell did I just hear?”
He quickly turned to look at the others and saw a similar shocked expression on their faces as well. Only then was he sure he hadn’t misheard Austin.
“Y–You’re married?”
Charles was stuttering from shock. He couldn’t even finish his sentence without accidentally biting his tongue.
Austin’s casual announcement was the epitome of an atomic bomb.
Austin looked at Charles coldly and asked, “Am I not allowed to get married?”
That remark left everyone silent.
Charles scratched his head awkwardly. He felt as if his mind couldn’t keep up anymore. Hurriedly, he explained, “We just never heard of you dating anyone before, so the marriage seems sudden.”
Anyone would be curious about news like that.
He looked at Austin. Charles‘ handsome features creased in a slight smile as he asked, “Well, who’s the lucky girl?”
Charles was incredibly curious. Who knew which saint had managed to thaw Austin’s icy heart?
No one else was saying anything, but they were all waiting for Austin’s answer.
Austin looked up at Charles mildly without saying a word.
Charles touched the tip of his nose awkwardly. It seemed like he wasn’t going to get any answers any time soon.
No matter how curious he was, he held himself back. He could always pop by Austin’s mansion one day and find out for himself.
Charles was immediately excited again.
Herman’s gaze, on the other hand, landed on Austin as he asked, “You got married without a wedding?”
Austin’s eyes glinted as he crossed his long legs and replied mildly, “We’ll come to that eventually.”

Back in Suzanne’s booth, they had all played many rounds of truth or dare, and the atmosphere was much more energetic than before.
Marsha clapped twice above her head, causing the crowd to fall silent. “Come on, let’s play another round.”
Everyone turned to stare at the liquor bottle.
“Let’s see who’s next,” Marsha said before spinning the bottle. It slowed to a halt in front of Kenneth.
Kenneth, dressed in a suit, sat on the couch. His skin was clear and fair, contrasting with his deep, dark eyes. His features looked as though they were chiseled from marble.
Kenneth clearly didn’t expect to get chosen, based on the surprised look on his face.
Marsha crossed her arms over her chest as her bright gaze landed on Kenneth. “So, Mr. Zimmerman, are you choosing truth or dare?”
