Chapter 72
The other women discussed for a moment before sending Janice to ask a question. She smiled at Seline and asked, “Who are you interested in at the
moment?”
Since it wasn’t a particularly interesting topic, the men in the booth were getting bored, but they still looked at Seline with large smiles on their faces..
Seline, however, smiled shyly and glanced at Jenson.
That glance alone was worth a thousand words
The bored crowd instantly became hooked. They all looked at Jenson before turning to look at Suzanne.
It seemed like there was a love triangle going on between them!
Seline blushed and looked down as she said shyly, “You guys are so mean! How could you ask me something like that?”
Her pitch voice sent chills down Marsha’s spine.
She turned around and whispered in Suzanne’s ear, “She’s such a fake! Oh my God, she’s such a pick–me. How can you stand her?”
Ti Marsha had been in Suzanne’s place, she would have slapped Seline by now,
Suzanne just smiled as her gaze darkened mockingly. “Men love that. That’s all I can say.”
Tenson got together with Seline because of that, after all.
Marsha let out a gentle sigh and nodded as she said, “You’re right. Men are trash”
Jenson heard their entire conversation. He frowned as his irritated gaze landed on Seline.
Seline was really better off being kept under wraps.
The others held back their disgust and continued to chuckle amongst themselves as they pushed Seline for more answers.
“Don’t worry, we’re all friends here,” someone said.
Seline’s eyes glinted with a mischievous look. Suzanne had said it herself. She no longer liked Jenson, so there was no problem with Seline saying She looked at Jenson with a shy gaze. “Well, I really like Jenson.”
Everyone looked at Suzanne only to see her sitting still with a perfectly calm expression.
Janice coughed subtly to change the subject. “It’s normal to like Mr. Movie Star here. He’s a lot of women’s celebrity crush.”
Tenson didn’t react to Seline’s confession one bit. He didn’t even bother lifting his gaze to look at her.
Selline’s hopes were instantly dashed by that.
She bit her lip firmly as bittemess rose up like bile in her throat. On the surface, however, she was forced to keep a gentle smile on her face. Marsha couldn’t stand Seline’s fake act and got up to move everyone on to the next round so they could cut that conversation short.
“Okay, let’s move on! Let’s see who the lucky one is next.”
The bottle was spun and finally stopped in front of Suzanne
Before Marsha could speak, Kenneth stood up and slapped the table.
“No. I’m not going to be the only one who embarrassed themselves today. Suzanne, you have to choose ‘dare‘]”
Suzanne clenched her hand tightly around her glass. As the atmosphere began to liven up again, everyone else cheered.
They all clamored about wanting her to pick “Dare“.
Suzanne smiled and stood up. She looked at Kenneth mildly and said in a barely interested tone, “Go ahead. What should I do?”
“Truth” was rather boring. All they asked her about was her and Jenson, and she was fed up with all those questions.
Everyone felt like they were involved with each other, but Jenson had never admitted it. Their relationship was basically completely kept under wraps,
Thinking back, she simply didn’t know how she managed to take it.
Marshalled at Suzanne worriedly. Suzanne had always been a quiet person who kept to herself.
If those people wanted her to do something dramatic, Marsha was worried that Suzanne wouldn’t be able to handle it.
Before Kenneth could say anything, Matthew had already stood up and looked at Suzanne with a wide grin. “I love your boldness! If that’s the case, I won’t hold back!”
