It was just like my wedding, which used to be something I had been dearly looking forward to. But now, it had turned into a ridiculous farce.
I chuckled self–deprecatingly. Then, I took the urn with my baby girl’s ashes in it, a few clothing items, and a small suitcase before boarding a plane to Ferris, Phance.
When I was in college, I’d purposely switched majors so that I could help Archer with his company.
I knew nothing about designing jewelry. But because I was determined to help him, I started from scratch and slowly made my way up, finally gaining recognition within Crenia, my home country, as a talented and well–established jewelry designer, Luna,

jewelry brand was propelled to the top of the industry and stayed.

Archer told me that I didn’t have to work so hard anymore.
“From now on, your only job is to spend all the money I give you. You can leave the rest to me,” he had said. “When this peak season is over, I’ll give you the biggest, grandest, and most expensive wedding you could ever dream of.”

Things worsened when he gifted me that sapphire ring.
The ring looked beautiful and exquisite upon first look However, I hated the color blue. Also, the ring had been presented to me via Archer’s latest fling–Jacklyn, his secretary at work.
I don’t remember how I felt when I accepted the ring. I just remember being exhausted out of my mind, even though he was finally fulfilling his promise to me
I couldn’t hold on any longer. So, I probably felt the same as I did right now.
“Archer, I can’t wait any longer. You can fulfill your promise to me with some other woman.”
