She paused for a second, then gave me a
knowing look, “Why do you ask the same
questions as Brad?”
Then she poked the ring on her nose, “Not
too long, about a week.”
After hearing that, I understood.
Brad was asking for his own selfish desires.
And I was asking, because I needed to make
sure when my sister would finally self-
destruct.
Since our parents weren’t home, my sister
was reckless.
After dinner, she called Brad while chilling on
the couch.
“You were too rough last time, that’s why I ended up in the hospital.”
Brad’s voice immediately softened, and he kept apologizing.
My sister loved that, “Whatever, just don’t be
a jerk.”

A second later, they abruptly changed the
subject.
Brad was a little worried, “I see other girls with their nose gauged, it’s already big.”
“Yours…”
Hearing that, my sister got mad.
“What do you mean? Are you checking out. other girls‘ noses?”
Brad quickly explained, “I’m just thinking
about how your parents are coming back tomorrow, right?”
Then he sighed, “If they find out, we’re done

Brad’s voice grew louder, “Then why don’t we
do it right now!”

I understood what she meant, so I quickly

“Sis, Brad is right, if your parents found out.”
“You guys would probably break up.
Brad seemed surprised I was supporting him.

My sister was, still worried.
“Sis, just don’t worry about it!”
“I’ve been making sure you take your
medicine, so it shouldn’t get infected.”

I winked at her, “Do you want him falling for another girl?”
That immediately lit a fire under her ass.
She quickly agreed, and said, “Brad, I’ve done

“I would never cheat.”

After she hung up, my sister looked at me,
with a strange smile.
“Lily, when Brad comes, it wouldn’t be
appropriate if you were here.”
I jumped up, “Sis, what are you talking about?
I’m hanging out with friends tonight.”
My answer satisfied her, and she even gave
me some money.
Just stay somewhere else for the night.”
I took the money and ran out of there.
Even if she hadn’t said anything, I wouldn’t be
staying to hear them all night.

I didn’t leave, I hid myself inside some bushes
near the house.
I curled up and the bushes concealed me well.
A while later, Brad showed up.
He was holding a bouquet of flowers, banging
on the door like he couldn’t wait.
My sister opened it eagerly, then basically
leaped on him.
They started kissing without a care in the
world.
The moment the door closed, I called my
parents.

“Mom, my sister kicked me out!”
“She gave me money, and said I can’t sleep
at home.”
Then I cried out loud.
My mom’s drowsiness faded, and she
sounded worried.

shuffling on the other end.
Then, my dad’s voice broke through, “Why
did your sister make you leave?”
“Did you do something to upset her?”
Hearing that, I cried louder, “I didn’t!”
“After a phone call, she kicked me out.”
I sniffled, then quickly changed the subject.
“Dad, where am I gonna sleep tonight?”
My dad cursed, then made my mom make a
call.
“Wait a second, let me talk to your sister.”
