dragged them back within seconds. They were shoved hard to the ground, and they landed in a heap.
Our parents clung to Estel while shouting hysterically. This is illegal! Do you think we won’t report you? Just wait–we’ll have you arrested for this!”
Simon looked down at them. He towered over their crumpled forms. “Report us? First, you’ll need to make it out of here alive.”
The men surrounded them in a tight circle, sending the three into a trembling fit.
Yet Estel was stubbornly clinging to her delusions. She shouted, “Simon, if you dare touch me, you’ll regret it. Julian has been chatting with me every day and thanking me for being there.
“You must not have asked him about this. If you had, there’s no way he would’ve let you treat me this way!”
Simon frowned slightly, took out his phone, and opened a chat interface. “You’re not referring to this conversation, are you? What a pity–this wasn’t Mr. Stewart at all. It was one of our company’s tech staff chatting with you.”
He continued, “As for why we kept reaching out to you every day, it was to infiltrate your phone. All of your family’s phones have been under our surveillance for some time.
“We know exactly how you lured Mrs. Stewart to the slums, how your parents hit her with their car, how

dealt with her phone, and where you dumped the vehicle. We’ve known everything for a while now.”
The three of them turned pale instantly.
Estel’s voice trembled as she stammered, “That’s impossible. If you already knew all this, why didn’t you call the police?”
Simon lowered his gaze to her, and his dark eyes were radiating menace. “What do you think?”
Even Estel, no matter how foolish, understood the implication in his tone. They hadn’t called the police because if law enforcement handled the case, the consequences might only be detention or a prison sentence.
For Julian, such a punishment was far too lenient.
“The punishment would’ve been far too light,” Simon said with a cold sneer.
“Honestly, I can’t fathom who gave you the nerve to go after Mrs. Stewart. She wasn’t just anyone–she was Mr. Stewart’s most cherished person. Even if she so much as bumped into a table, the table would end up getting shattered into pieces.”
Estel stood frozen. She was completely dumbfounded
Our parents, however, seemed oblivious. “That doesnt give you the right to do anything illegal to us. If you
break the law, you’ll go to jail too.”
I couldn’t hold back a laugh. “Dad, Mom, are you even listening to what’s being said? They already brought you all the way here, and you think they care about whether their actions are legal?
“If they kill us all, the worst–case scenario will be reporting us as missing. Julian’s influence is so vast that whatever he does won’t leave a trace. And even if it does, some people are willing to take the fall for him.”
