daughter.
However, what I didn’t know was that on the other side of the world, back at the haunted hotel…
The bell in Room 1 rang incessantly.
The hotel boss, who was temporarily filling in as the “receptionist,” shuddered as he opened the door.
Suddenly, a face appeared right in front of him.
It was Ruby, her expression fierce as she demanded, “Why is it you again? Where’s my Miss?”
The hotel boss, nearly having a heart attack, forced a shaky smile. “Am I… not good
The lump on Ruby’s back twisted around, slithering onto his shoulder and opening its mouth wide.
“What do you think?”

The hotel boss went to check the second room.
Out of nowhere, a blood–red little creature lunged forward, matching onto his pant leg and biting furiously.
In seconds, his brand–new pants had a gaping hole.
Mew Mew hissed furiously, “Meow, meow meow!” which clearly meant, “You vile human! You despicable capitalist! What have you done to her?”

The boss trembled, his voice shaking. “M–Mew Mew, Zoe’s just on leave! I even posted a notice on the bulletin board…”
The old woman chuckled lightly. “Mew Mew’s just too worried about that young lady.”
Then, with a knowing smile, she added, “But, boss, for the sake of your personal safety, wouldn’t it be better to bring her back? Don’t you think?”
Sweating profusely, the boss nodded quickly. “Yes, yes, absolutely!”
Room Three.
The moment the boss stepped inside, the air seemed to choke him.
Blood was everywhere, pooling across the floor.
The old woman with the black scarf was quietly knitting a sweater.
The boss‘ voice trembled as he pointed to the unidentifiable material in her hands. “W–What… is that?”
She adjusted her reading glasses and replied casually, “Human skin. The young lady isn’t here, so I had to kill a few more people. Care to donate a piece of your subcutaneous tissue? This sweater could include your contribution.”
She smiled. “I’m sure she’d love it.”
The hotel boss‘ entire body shook. “N–No, no, that’s fine. Really.”
It was just an ordinary day of room inspections, yet the hotel boss found himself interrogated, threatened, and terrorized by nearly every game boss in the hotel.
By the end of it, he was convinced he wouldn’t survive much longer.

But the chaos wasn’t limited to the game boss.
Every player who entered the haunted hotel found themselves face–to–face with unusually chatty bosses before they were killed.
“Do you know where the pretty front desk lady went?”
“You want to survive? Then find that young lady and bring her back.”
“I want the little receptionist who does room inspections! Not that smelly hotel boss who doesn’t even shower!”
