Love Story 1–Chapter 1
“Mrs. Schneider killed herselt!”
I woke up to a blinding white.
Before I could react, there was a piercing pain in my wrist.
Just as I was catching my breath, I heard an anxious male voice
Then, I saw a man with his back to me talking on the phone. “Mr. Schneider, Mrs. Schneider is in the hospital now. Do you want to come and see her?”
A cold voice came from the other end of the line. “Is she dead? If not, don’t bother me!”
The call was hung up, the man sighed and turned to look at me, stunned.
After a while, he came up to me. “Mrs. Schneider, how are you feeling?”
“Mrs. Schneider?” I looked at him blankly. “Are you talking to me?”
“Do you not recognize me?” The man’s face changed. “I’m Walter Durham, Mr. Schneider’s assistant.”
“Who is Mr. Schneider?”
Walter frowned at me, already a bit impatient. “Mrs. Schneider, Mr. Schneider is very busy with work right now. Even after you tried to commit suicide, he didn’t come visit you, let alone pretending to lose your memory! Give it up, Mr. Schneider won’t come here!”
I was even more confused, not knowing what he was talking about.
Seeing I didn’t speak, Walter took another step forward, earnestly saying, “Mrs. Schneider, you’ve been married to Mr. Schneider for five years, and you’ve been making a fuss for five years. Even so, Mr. Schneider hasn’t been able to fall in love with you. Shouldn’t you reflect on yourself and stop causing trouble for Mr. Schneider?”
Although I still didn’t know what was going on, his attitude made me very uncomfortable.
Looking at his smug face, I felt an inexplicable aversion.
Wait.
“You said five years?”
I rushed into the bathroom and looked at myself in the mirror.
It was indeed me, the same face, but more mature, with a lingering trace
Could it be that what Walter said was true?
Five years had passed?

of sorrow.
As it turned out, I really was married.
And I’d been married for five years;
I didn’t travel through time, nor was I dreaming, but I’d lost my memory.
My current memory was still at 18 years old, when I just entered college; I had a crush on a senior, named Niko Schneider.
He was a perfect ice prince in every way, looks, family, and ability.
And now I was married to hitn.
According to Walter, I married Niko when I was zo, a whirlwind marriage with no emotional foundation.
I was still in college back then, so we only registered our marriage but no wedding.
After getting married, I found that Niko’s atte

attention wasn’t on me but on his childhood friend Madeleine Pruitt.
It was said that she was his crush
And I, who felt unloved, started to cause him trouble.
I tried all kinds of bizarre means to attract Niko’s attention but only got his increasing disgust.
His friends all treated me as a joke, just waiting for the day we would divorce.
Madeleine never took me seriously. She was the little princess in their circle, and every time I made a scene, I was like a clown in their
eyes.
Finally, I used suicide to threaten Niko to stop contacting Madeleine.
But he didn’t agree, and even told me to go ahead and try it.
Then I committed suicide.
That was what happened before I came around,
I feel so surreal.
Suicide for love was not something I would do!
When I figured all this out, I was already in the master bedroom of my marital home.
The doctor said I was fine, so Walter sent me back directly, and before leaving, he warned me not to make a fuss again.
I looked at the huge villa in front of me, no longer in the mood to make a fuss. I was shocked by this luxurious house.
Even the walk–in closet was bigger than the apartment I used to live!
Just as I was dazzled looking at Niko’s and my bedroom, there was a noise at t
