William stared at the screen in disbelief, still reeling from the shock.
Karen’s gaze turned hollow as she collapsed onto the ground. Seeing that the truth was completely exposed with no chance of turning back, she crawled over and hugged Annie’s leg.
She tried to argue her way out once again. “No–that’s not it! He forced me to do it! I was tricked!”
Annie laughed bitterly, asking, “You said you were forced to do it?”
Karen hurriedly nodded.
Annie shut her eyes. When she opened them again, she gave Karen a hard kick.
Karen stumbled onto the ground, scraping her palms and making it bleed.
“Do you think I’m blind? Does someone who’s forced to do it act the way you did in the footage? Fuck, how disgusting! It’s one thing if he cheated, but he actually cheated with an ugly old hag. How disgusting!” Annie screamed, showing signs of mental breakdown.
She lunged at Karen on the floor, grabbing her hair and smashing her head against the ground. The impact knocked Karen unconscious briefly as she slumped on the ground, her body limp and unable to move.
When William came back to his senses, he tried to help her, only to be pulled back by Annie’s subordinates. He could only watch as Karen got beaten up.
Meanwhile, I was merely enjoying the show from the side. There was nothing to feel sorry for, as I experienced much worse than her in my past life. No one felt sorry for me then.
After some time, Karen regained consciousness and tried to plead tearfully. However, Annie lost control of her temper and was clearly impatient.
She took off her high heels irritably and started whacking Karen with it. “Shut up! I don’t want to hear your voice!”
She continued to beat Karen senseless. Bruises started appearing everywhere on Karen’s body soon after.
When she Annie finally tired of beating Karen up, she dragged and kicked the latter onto the streets. She then grabbed Karen by the hair and forced her to go on her knees.
“I’ll show everyone what this mistress thinks she has going for her!” Annie then started tearing apart Karen’s clothes.
