Annie also noticed how Wilbur wetted himself. She sneered “What a coward!”
She went on, “Have I ever done anything to you, Wilbur? I supported you wholeheartedly when you said you wanted to start a business. I was even the one who paid off your debts when you lost them all and never once blamed you.
“You told me you liked my short hair, so I stopped growing my hair for you. You told me you loved my cooking, and I’ve never ordered takeouts to brush you off.
“But look at how you’ve been treating me—you’ve been cheating with an old hag who’s even got a married son! You guys are even having so much fun.”
Annie said, “I’ll just consider all these years my mistake. I’m telling you, we’re done for good!”
Wilbur’s knees went weak when he heard her. He cried uncontrollably, slapping himself repeatedly while begging her for forgiveness.
Annie only gave him an exhausted glance.
She eventually instructed her subordinates to strip both Karen and Wilbur naked and bind them together with a rope. Her subordinates then brought in a pickup truck and a loudspeaker to parade the two adulterers on the
streets.
There were many bystanders along the road. Some were even recording the chaos with their phones.
The pickup truck eventually stopped by the river.
Annie kicked Karen and Wilbur off the truck, her chest heaving with emotions. Her eyes were filled with hatred as she stared at them.
After that, she made a move, about to push the both of them into the river.
