The applause was loud as our friends and family cheered.
Most of the important people in Central City had been invited, and the event was huge.
Before walking down the aisle, I saw Zach at the hotel. He was standing in a corner and looking at me with eyes full of frustration and sadness.
Sienna was with him. She glared at me with both hatred and jealousy.
But I did not care. I had found someone who truly made me happy, and they no longer mattered.
Joel, looking tall and confident in his suit, stood beside me as we faced the priest and made our vows to become husband and wife.
“Yulia, you’re so beautiful today.” He gently lifted my veil. My bride is the most beautiful woman in the world.”
We smiled at each other and shared a sweet kiss.
After the wedding, my friend told me that Zach and Sienna had a big fight. The reason? Zach had caught her flirting with the orchestra conductor to get a performance.
Zach had ruthlessly taken her to the hospital and made her get an abortion.
Then he handed her a divorce certificate, left her alone at the hospital, and walked away.
I just smiled when I heard it. This was nothing but the consequences of their own behavior.
