“Anne was clearly going to kill whoever Brad chose.
“It’s obvious Brad was trying to protect you.
Linda gave me a long, exasperated look.
“No… really?”
“And how do we even look alike? I think you might be a bit confused about our appearances.”
I looked at her face, then at my front–facing camera.
Blankly, I asked, “What about Anne?”
“Anne? She’s just Brad’s obsessed fangirl, isn’t she?”
Thinking back on how Brad treated me these past two years..
His actions on the cliff…

A wave of guilt made me break out in a cold sweat.

My face fell, but thankfully the host next to me was perceptive. He said something in Japanese.

A bone–chilling voice echoed through the entire host club.
My throat went dry. I turned, slowly looking towards the source of the voice.
Brad stood at the entrance, his face ashen, his gaze fixed on.. my hand on the host’s abs.
I instinctively pulled back.
I nudged Linda with my elbow, “Hey, your boyfriend’s here.”
Linda, also seeing Brad, stammered, “Your boyfriend!”
After a chase scene straight out of a movie, where escape was futile, Brad caught Linda and me and brought us back home, 1
As we left the airport, familiar winds greeted us.
I held Linda’s hand tightly.
“Linda! Don’t go!”
After days of eating, sleeping, and feeling up abs and butts together, sharing joys and sorrows…
Our bond had become unbreakable.
Linda, teary–eyed, said, “You have to take care of yourself, Lindsey! Promise me you won’t die, okay?” Brad’s expression grew darker.
I composed myself and let go of Linda. “Go on, don’t worry!!
The response was a loud “BANG” as the car door slammed. The
Brad had someone take Linda home.
