Winona laughed softly. “Let’s see what happens first.”
With no one around, I went downstairs to buy Winona some food. She was hungry because she had been lying down all this time. She quickly finished the food.
I had no idea why she would do this to Sean. From my observation, he would not have kept watch by her side the entire night if he did not love her.
However, it might be because Winona was in the middle of everything happening that she could be blind to the
truth.
Yvonne arrived at the hospital in the afternoon. By then, Winona was back lying in bed like a patient.
She looked at Winona in bed and scoffed. Yvonne asked, “How is she? Did she wake up?”
I glanced at Winona and shook my head. “Nope. She’s still unconscious. By the way, I met Sean this morning. He stayed by Winona’s side the entire night.”
