The next morning, I arrived at the hospital on time. Sean had not left the hospital yet. It looked like he had slept on the bed next to Winona.
I glanced at him and asked, “Have you found the person who poisoned Winona, Mr. Graham?”
Sean looked at me and shook his head. “No.”
I sighed with great relief and looked at him a little guiltily.
“Alright. I’ll go in to take care of Winona now.”
I entered the ward and saw Sean standing thoughtfully where he was out of the corner of my eye. I had made a deliberate attempt to act suspiciously in front of Sean. That way, he would shift his focus to me and Yvonne.

poisoned Winona.
Winona and I had discussed it the day before. She did not want Sean to know that she was fine for now, so it was up to me to slowly reveal clues to him. If he was serious about this, he would continue investigating it.
I spent the rest of my time split between my house and the hospital.
Yvonne began to focus fully on seducing Sean as I painted a picture of Winona’s condition getting worse to her every day.
Sean did not seem to reject her, and they eventually got closer. I often saw them visit the hospital together.
Sean smiled more at Yvonne as time went by. He looked like he was attracted to her.
This made me doubt my previous judgment. Could Sean really not love Winona as much as I thought?
If that were true, would Sean still want revenge on Yvonne?
I kept throwing more clues at Sean during this time, but he did not seem to react to them. He acted like he had no idea about them and continued spending time with Yvonne.
This got me anxious. If he would not take revenge on Yvonne on my behalf, I would have no one else to help me.
