However, I did not expect Winona to give me so much money. There was no way I could use up all this money.
I searched for a house near the school and rented a one–bedroom apartment that was only a two–minute walk from the school.
After that, I moved all my luggage from my house over to the rented house and prepared to revise my studies.
To avoid being discovered, I did all of this secretly. Even my parents did not realize what I was doing.
Yvonne did not come home for the last few days.
After a while, my parents began to panic. They had no idea where to look for her as she never told them where she
went.
Mom had no choice but to get me to look for Yvonne.
That was when I received a call from Sean. He wanted me to meet him at a given location.
I followed the address and found that it was a villa. Sean was seated on the couch with beer bottles all around him.
He looked like he had not slept for a long time. His eyes were bloodshot, and he had a stubble on his chin.
“Can you tell me where Winona went?
I frowned. “Why are you asking me? She doesn’t want me to tell you where she has gone. Why are you harassing her when you have no feelings for her?”
Sean shook his head dejectedly. “It’s not what you think. It’s all a misunderstanding.”
