“What did you say?” Antonio was stunned.
“Go to Auroville and see for yourself,” Lucile said. “Grace is not dead. The one on the operating table that day was not her.”
She was telling the truth. That day, although she was given anesthesia, she didn’t need surgery at all, so the dosage was not high. As a result, she vaguely saw what happened during the surgery.
She clearly heard the woman on the operating table speak, and that was not Grace’s voice!
At that time, she thought that Grace just wanted to fake her death and leave, so she didn’t expose it.
But now, she had changed her mind. After all, Antonio wanted to send her to prison because he thought Grace was dead. He even wanted to break up with her.
Lucile thought that Antonio would definitely be furious after he knew that Grace faked her death just to run away from him with another man.
But unexpectedly, Antonio didn’t let Lucile off. He instructed the bodyguard, “Take her to the police.”
Lucile panicked. “Antonio, she’s not dead. Why do you…”
“Even if she’s not dead, you’ve really wanted to kill her, haven’t you?”
Lucile was stunned. She explained, “Antonio, I just love you too much… You can’t…”

“Antonio!”
When Eloy and Silvia saw that Lucile was being taken away, they also panicked. “Antonio, what’s going on? Why are you taking Lucile away? Didn’t she tell you that Grace is not dead?”
Antonio glanced at them, saying lightly, “If I later find out that you were also aware of all that, I’ll send you to prison as well.”
With that, he left.
He asked someone to investigate Lucile’s experiences over the past twenty years. Then, he bought a plane ticket to Auroville that night.
He wanted to find Grace.
No matter whether the daughter of the Simpson family was Grace or not, no matter why she wanted to leave, he had to go and find her.
There was still a week left before the art exhibition at the end of the
month.
However, Antonio felt that he couldn’t wait any longer. Whenever he closed his eyes, the scene of Grace weakly begging him would pop up in his mind, making him suffocate with pain.
After getting up from bed, Antonio directly drove to the Simpson’s villa. But when he got to the entrance, he was stopped by the security. The security mistook him for a bad guy and directly called the police.
After explaining everything clearly to the police, he finally got out of the station. However, it was already dark outside.
Antonio was very upset. He sat by the window of the revolving restaurant, looking out at the scenery with mixed feelings in his heart.
Suddenly, his phone rang. It was a call from his grandfather, Andrew
Kaufman.
“Antonio, what the hell are you doing? Come back now!”
“No. Grandpa, I have to see it for myself. If she’s still alive, then I…”
Andrew sighed, “Antonio, even if she’s still alive, what can you do? Since she decided to fake her death just to leave you, there’s no way that she’ll come back to you.”
Antonio had never thought about this. In his mind, if Grace was still alive, then she was still his wife, and he would take her back no matter
what it took.
Andrew knew how stubborn Antonio was. He sighed again, saying, “Antonio, after you confirm it, come back. Let it go, OK? You’ve turned the Parrish family’s life upside down. They’ve been complaining to me every day. Besides, the company still needs you. Antonio, you have to
move on.”
Antonio frowned. Without saying anything else, he hung up.
He also knew that there were a few projects in the company that had cash flow issues. But now, the most important thing to him was finding Grace.
Just as he thought so, he casually turned his head and happened to see a woman holding a man’s arm, walking in.
That woman looked so much like Grace!
But now, she looked more beautiful, elegant, and dazzling than when she was with him.
