Normally, Simon appeared slim, but as the buttons came undone, I was surprised to see the strong muscles hidden beneath that seemingly modest shirt.
When I stayed seated, he urged me. “Come on, Dr. Cruz, let’s get started.”
I tried to maintain my professionalism as I replied, “For a heart examination, you don’t need to undo the buttons to your abdomen.”
Simon made a sound of acknowledgement and slowly buttoned his shirt back up, covering his perfect abs.

Chapter 9
I sterilized the instruments, applied the gel, and gently placed them against his body. He flinched slightly as my fingers brushed his skin, and his breath quickened.
“Relax, Dr. Lawson. Don’t be nervous,” I said with a teasing smile, slowly moving the instrument across his skin.
The room fell eerily silent. Simon’s eyelashes fluttered, and his face gradually warmed with color. He was clearly nervous, though he was trying to hold his composure.
Just then, Dr. Wilson barged in.
“Dr. Cruz, are you in here?”
When he looked across the room and spotted Simon half–undressed and lying on the table, he quickly shut his eyes in pain.
Simon hastily sat up and buttoned up his shirt, putting on his usual aloof expression.
I suppressed a smile and asked, “What’s the matter, Dr. Wilson?”
