“Don’t let us see you again in the future. If anything were to happen to Sandra, don’t blame us for taking action against you!”
Only Ivy’s heartbreaking cries were heard in the ward.
The moment Keith left the ward, he received a call from his assistant. “We found Ms. Hudson’s flight information. She’s heading to Switzerland.”
Keith was overwhelmed with joy, anger and confusion. He clenched his fists unconsciously. He felt he was about to lose control over his body.
He thought he had protected her in the best way, but he did not expect she would betray him.
Sandra betrayed the relationship between the two of them who grew up together. She left without a word, without even a decent farewell.
“Book me a ticket to Switzerland, the earliest ticket!”
Keith’s assistant handled all the formalities as quickly as possible and handed the ticket and passport to Keith.
“Mr. Farmer, it’s all done. Do you need me to go with you?”
“No, I have to find Sandra myself this time.”
Mike and Irene rushed to the airport before Keith left. “Keith, we were wrong for things we did to Sandra. We’ve done so many things that hurt her. If you see her, you must tell her to contact us.”
“Mr. and Mrs. Hudson, Sandra has always been well–behaved and sensible. I believe she’ll definitely understand your situation.”
Keith said that not only to Mike and Irene, but to himself too.
Perhaps Sandra was just throwing a tantrum. (1)
Sandra had settled down and gotten used to her new life.
Except for the weather being freezing and needing to wear layers upon layers of clothing while collecting samples outdoors, her life was wonderful.
She finally found the familiar image she saw earlier. He was the man who splashed water all over her with his car that day.
She finally knew his name–Zachary Lawrence.
