Keith sat to the side, but he did not say a single word.
“We weren’t able to contact you, so we could only contact Keith. We learned that you left Keith in the hospital without taking care of him. After all, he was admitted to the hospital for trying to collect the specimen for you,” Irene said.
Mike got angrier after listening to what Irene just said.
“Is this how we raised you? You’re heartless!”
Sandra stared at Keith and scoffed, “I didn’t know that you were such a tattle–tale, Mr. Farmer. Unfortunately for you, you went to the wrong person to tell your tales. From the moment I left, they no longer have me as their daughter.”
Keith wanted to speak, but he did not know what to say.
“Nonsense! We did a paternity test, and you are our biological daughter indeed. We were all deceived by Ivy!”
Sandra replied emotionlessly, “So? So, you can use your position as my parents to interfere in my life and make choices for me?”
Mike and Irene stopped responding. They knew indeed was wrong in the matter.
Mike held his silence for a long time before speaking, “No matter what, we don’t approve for you to be with this guy. He’s just a nobody. How can he compare with Keith?”
Zachary could not stand listening to them any longer. “Mr. and Mrs. Hudson, since when am I just a nobody? Why

Irene sneered, “You’re just a nobody. How could you compare to the Farmer Corporation? If you offend Keith, you won’t be able to survive another minute.”
Zachary’s laughter filled the conference room. “I’d like to see him try.”
Keith clenched his fists.
Sandra frowned. “Enough! I barely have enough time to sleep. Why should I spend time talking to you about this? Let’s go, Zachary. Don’t let me see you three again.”
After saying that, Sandra took Zachary’s hand and left.
There was only one week left before the results from the final experiment would be published. Everyone in the laboratory was trying to catch up on the progress.
Everything depended on if they could pass the review at the academic seminar in a week’s time. If their project was reported by major media, it would be extremely beneficial for their project.
Sandra looked at her watch and saw that they had wasted a lot of time. It would be another sleepless night.
Keith did not give up. He took Mike and Irene to go sightseeing around the city.
Keith acted just like their son–in–law. He felt satisfied as long as he was close to people related to Sandra.
A week later, Sandra’s team successfully won the most influential scientific research award of the year. Sandra went on stage to receive the award on behalf of the entire scientific research team.
Mike, Irene and Keith were sitting in the audience.
