Sandra looked at Zachary with tears in her eyes.
Three people who she once thought were her family members sat in the audience, fully knowing the whole truth of the incident. However, they did not have the courage to stand up and speak for her.
Zachary, who was seemingly an unreliable person, stood by her unconditionally, believed in her, supported her, and backed her up.
The people in the audience were murmuring.
Amidst the exclamations of the crowd, Zachary took Sandra’s hand and knelt on one knee. He then took out a ring from the pocket on his trousers. Even those standing in the back row could see a huge diamond.
“Sandra, will you marry me?”
All the voices of doubts were eliminated by what was happening as another exciting event attracted everyone’s attention.
Ivy, who was still on the big screen, was obviously watching the live broadcast over on Sandra’s end. She almost broke down when she saw the situation overturn.
Ivy shouted incessantly. The host saw that things were not right, so he shut down the live broadcast. The host knew who Zachary was, and he could not afford to offend him.
Sandra smiled and nodded. Zachary put the diamond ring on her finger, carried her and spun around.
Irene nudged Mike with her elbow. “Dear, they decided to get married without asking for our blessing.”
Mike looked at them and wanted to stop them, but he was distracted by the discussion next to him.
Many people started to shift their attention. Some people started to find out about Zachary.
“I knew I saw that name somewhere before.”
A girl exclaimed, “Isn’t Zachary the youngest son of the Lawrence family, the top ranking family out of the four major families in West City?”
“As people say, romantic lovers are born in rich families.”
Mike and Irene, who wanted to stop Zachary and Sandra, sat down silently.
