“Block it. Block everything related to her,” he snapped.

“Yes, understood,” the assistant replied nervously.
Since that disastrous wedding two years ago, no other woman had appeared in Bruce’s life. Back then, everyone thought Hailey was dispensable to him. But now, seeing her move on and find happiness, it was clear: losing her had broken him.

The assistant sighed internally but dared not voice his thoughts. Instead, he asked, “Shall we head back to the hotel now?”
“No. Book the earliest flight back. I need to get back to the company,” Bruce replied curtly.
