In the end, Laura would just have one herself and give one to Chris. She would also laugh occasionally.
It was probably because Laura was laughing too loudly and James finally turned around to look at her.
Laura cuddled up in Chris’s arms. “I’m scared, Uncle Chris
Chris raised his head and glared at James. His voice wasn’t pleasant at all. “I’d suggest you turn around, Mr. Frost. Your looks are too ugly and you’re scaring my goddaughter.
Before James could say anything, Brenda chimed in, “You’re a bad guy. How dare you say that my dad is ugly?”

“No! I didn’t do anything wrong, why should I apologize?” Brenda began sobbing.
– James, as the loving father he was, pulled Brenda into his arms. “It’s alright, baby. Don’t cry. You didn’t do

“Scumbag!” cursed Chris. He then lowered his head and looked at Laura. “Are you thirsty, baby? Do you want anything to drink?”
