If I remembered correctly, this apartment was bought by my mother and was supposed to be Leonard and Robyn’s new place after they got married.
The door was flung wide open, and screams and shouts could already be heard.
My mother’s hands were on her waist, but I could tell that she wanted nothing more than to shove her finger right up into the other person’s face.
“I know that she was all alone in this city, so I let her stay in this apartment. And yet this is how you lot treat my daughter and son?”
Robyn was standing behind Shane looking as if she had been wronged.

Chapter 6
Shane’s face, along with a few fingernail scratches. His eyes were red, and his lips were pressed tightly together, not able to say even one word.
Susanna was grabbing onto my mother’s arm but was soon flung away. My mother spun around. When she saw me, her eyes darted to my abdomen, and her eyes welled up with tears too.
She sprinted over and grabbed onto Robyn, then dragged her outside.
“You shameless piece of garbage! Get out of here!”
Shane grasped her hand. “Mom…”
“Don’t call me ‘Mom!‘ You don’t deserve to!”
My mother’s ability to kick ass was off the charts. When she was on the warpath, even Leonard would not be a match for her.
I watched as she continued to pull on Robyn’s hair and dragged her to the door.
Shane did not even get a chance to stop her. Robyn stumbled and fell to the ground, then she quickly clung to the door frame.
She was crying so pitifully and would probably prompt anyone else to feel sorry for her like they would a sad mewing kitten.
“I’m… I’m pregnant. You can’t push me around like this, Tracy.”
Everyone’s eyes bulged in shock at her words. I too froze in surprise.
She stood up looking upset, then stretched her hand out toward Shane.
“I didn’t have the chance to tell you yet…”
Shane’s eyes were opened so wide I could see his whole irises.
“How is that possible?”
