Benjamin signed for the parcel and tore it open. The first thing he saw was a divorce agreement. He snorted and ignored it, throwing it to the floor. Then, he saw the abortion slip underneath it.
“No, this can’t be…” He was uneasy but forced himself to open the small box underneath the abortion slip, seemingly wanting to tell himself that this wasn’t true. He stiffened when he lifted the lid to see a small corpse inside.
His eyes widened, and he dropped the box. Hector’s expression changed at the sight, but he was more infuriated than anything else. “Damn it, Samantha! Why does she have to keep causing trouble? That bitch!”
“Ms. Monroe also left a message for both of you. She said that the pen drive in the box will tell you the truth of the past.” The delivery guy turned and left after calmly conveying my message.
