Torin’s words were nothing short of astonishing.
It made me laugh.
It left Mira speechless with anger. She looked down at Torin and retorted, “You? Forgive me? How dare you say that? Don’t think I don’t know you only pursued me for my wealth. Instead of being so full of yourself, maybe you should think about how to save your Silver Moon Pack!”
Mira’s words were direct and cutting, hitting the truth hard
Torin’s face turned red with rage. If it weren’t for Mira’s influence and power, he would have thrown a punch by
now.
Damon, on the other hand, tensed up and asked warily, “Mira, what do you mean by that? What’s this talk about saving the Silver Moon Pack?”
Elora also looked confused. “Yeah, our pack is doing just fine. What’s there to save?”
“Stop cursing us with your nonsense!”
Watching their confident yet clueless expressions, I couldn’t suppress a cold laugh.
“You’ll find out soon enough.”
As soon as I finished speaking, Torin received a call from his Beta. “Alpha, all our food suppliers have suddenly cut ties with us! Our food storage warehouses have caught fire, and all our supplies are gone!”
Hearing this, Torin was thunderstruck. He immediately shouted, “Then ask our allies for help! Even if we have to pay a high price, just secure supplies immediately!”
The voice on the other end of the line sounded panicked. “We’ve tried, Alpha! But none of our allies are willing to sell to us!”
