As soon as the call ended, a large group of people stormed into the sacred grounds, demanding wages and compensation from Torin.
In less than a minute, Damon, Elora, and Torin went from being the envy of everyone to being universally despised.
Now, the three of them were finally panicking.
Damon glared at me, his eyes filled with hatred, and roared “Aris, you’ve been scheming against us all along? How can you be so vile?!”
Torin, pinned to the ground by debt collectors, screamed at me hoarsely, “You need to fix this right now! Otherwise, I’ll never forgive you!”
His words made me laugh again. It was my fault for fueling his delusional confidence. I looked at him and said

slowly, “Your forgiveness means nothing to me. If you had learned anything useful over the years, the pack wouldn’t be in such a dire state.”
Torin snarled through gritted teeth, “Aris, stop acting all high and mighty! Relying on an illegitimate daughter to show off what kind of skill is that?! If you were really capable, would you have been stupid enough to hand over all your assets to me?”
Smack!
Before he could finish, Mira slapped him hard across the face. “Don’t you dare disrespect my mother! I’m not some illegitimate daughter. I’m the child she adopted from an orphanage. For years, she raised me with unconditional love, helping me rise from being a powerless Omega to where I am today. Everything I have, she gave to me!”
The moment these words were spoken, the entire crowd erupted in shock:
“So she’s just an adopted daughter? That makes Aris even more impressive. She managed to raise someone so exceptional out of nowhere?”
“Exactly. Meanwhile, Torin just looks more and more like a lost cause.”
Torin’s face twisted in anger as he glared at Mira. “Then why did you agree to bond with me?”
Mira scoffed and admitted bluntly, “Of course, it was to make sure you invited all your friends and family to witness your family’s so–called moment of glory together.”
Damon stared at me in disbelief. “Aris, you raised Torin while also adopting a daughter to take us down? Did you plan all of this from the start?”
I spoke coldly, “That’s right. When I was seven months pregnant, I already knew the child I was carrying was yours and Elora’s.”
Hearing this, Elora gasped in shock. “How is that possible? If you knew, why didn’t you expose us?”
I smiled faintly and said plainly, “That would’ve been too easy on you. I wanted to lift you to the highest point so that when you fell, you’d feel the full force of the pain. The higher you climb, the harder you fall!”
My tone was calm, but my words were shocking. Everyone present was stunned.
Only then did they realize that I wasn’t foolish—I had been playing a long, calculated game.
Torin collapsed to the ground, his expression dazed.
Elora and Damon were left speechless, frozen in place.
It wasn’t until now that they finally understood: while they had been scheming and plotting, I, the one they thought they had manipulated for years, had actually been the one controlling their fate all along.
Under the stunned gazes of the crowd, I turned and walked away coldly.
Mira followed closely behind me.
Later on-
I heard that Elora and the others sold everything they had but still couldn’t repay their debts.
In the end, Torin was killed by rogue wolves, his organs harvested and sold. He died a miserable death in the
wilderness.
Damon, driven to desperation while hiding from debt collectors, jumped off a cliff.

I smiled faintly. “Because it is a symbol of my Golden Moon Pack’s legacy. Giving it to them wasn’t a gift-
declaration. A promise that I would take back everything that was mine.”
