Chapter 17
“Stel, seriously, why are you doing this? Juliette made a mistake, it’s fine to teach her a lesson. But do you really love Alyssa that much?” one of his friends asked.
status, you can have any woman you want.”
“Yeah, Alyssa is just a woman,” said his other friend. “With l your current status.
Another friend chimed in, “If she’s gene, she’s gone. Why are you still chasing after her? You should show her that you can have plenty of women and live even better without her! She’ll come back obediently then.”
“Yeah. If not, just find a few chicks who look like Alyssa,” the first friend suggested. “Just let then learn a bit, and they’ll be the same as Alyssa!”
Stefan’s friends tried to comfort him. Over the years, they had witnessed Stefan’s deep feelings for Alyssa. Still, they thought it was a bit pointless.
While they were surrounded by women, Stefan was different.
Was Alyssa really that good?
However, when this question was raised, it only proved that they were tempted by the life Stefan had.
Countless times, they had envied Stefan and Alyssa’s relationship.
These playboys would never meet a woman who was truly sincere, as they themselves had long forgotten how to treat others with sincerity. To them, women were just toys.
But Stefan was the exception among them.
Although they had a good relationship with Stefan, deep down, they dreamed of pulling him down, making him one of them. By accepting Juliette, Stefan had become one of them.
They couldn’t understand what he was still regretting or feeling sad about
Alyssa was just a woman, what was so special about her?
But when Stefan heard them belittling Alyssa, anger surged within him. He picked up a bottle and began smashing it over their heads one by one. He fought fiercely; no one in the room was spared.
Even though he had drunk a lot, his punches and kicks were still swift and powerful, landing solidly. Those who tried to stop the fight were quickly beaten, ending up bruised and swollen.
Before long, the whole room was filled with people lying on the floor.
I I “Alyssa is my life. If I hear any of you speak ill of her again, you better take extra care of your families. I will never let you off!” Stefan warned ruthlessly. There was a sudden silence in the room. Everyone was so frightened they didn’t dare move. It was the first time they had seen him lose his temper like this. They were scared stiff.
After a long while, the tense atmosphere in the room gradually eased when Stefan began drinking again.
One of his friends, still unwilling to accept the situation, held back his anger and went outside to call the bar manager.
“See this woman in the photo? Find a few who look like her. The more similar, the better. Send them over as soon as possible!” He coldly pointed at Alyssa’s photo on his phone, sending it to the manager as well.
As the bar had connections with some clubs in Jeanshire, it wasn’t difficult to arrange for a few women to serve the elite.
Soon, a woman who closely resembled Alyssa Imocked on the door of the private room
“Excuse me… Are you the ones who ordered the service?” she timidly asked, pushing a cart with drinks and snacks.
When the door opened, the others in the room were a little surprised. This woman really did look like Alyssa. However, she was younger and much more naive–looking,
A few of them signaled for the woman to approach Stefan. Thinking Stefan wouldn’t reject her, they smiled confidently.
The woman stood in front of Stefan and gently called out to him, “Sir is this the drink you ordered?”
