Over the past three years, I stood behind him, watching him patiently care for Ashley.
Whenever I brought up the hope that he could give me some attention.
Malcolm would always impatiently say, “She is my sister, do you really need to argue with a child?”
Just think, I am only one year older than her.
What saddened me the most was that Malcolm would always tell Ashley about the things between him and me.

My answer was to slam the door heavily. He stood silently in the rain, looking at me sadly.
Suddenly, I remembered something and started bending down to search on the ground.
Mom walked up to me and gently patted my shoulder.
“Don’t bother looking at him, who knows how long he would stand there.”
I smiled and whispered, “He will leave soon. I sent his video to Ashley, and Ashley will be able to call him back immediately.”
Sure enough, a few minutes after saying these words.
Malcolm received a phone call and hurriedly left.
The next day, Ashley, like a winner, posted three messages about Malcolm in her circle of friends.
“I had a bad stomachache, having a brother is really great!”
“The stomach–nourishing soup he personally cooked was delicious!”
In the photo, Malcolm was exhaustedly lying asleep by Ashley’s bedside.
I suddenly realized that he had actually brought along the engagement ring that he used to despise in the past.
I didn’t know what he was trying to prove with this action, but I was disgusted enough.
So they deleted each other’s WhatsApp completely.
