Chapter 8
Chapter 9
The eighth diary of farewell to the world.
March 26, 2024.
The fans at the scene screamed continuously.
An interview program was turned into a fan meeting.
Celeste held up the camera, focusing it on me as I wildly waved the glow stick.
“Be careful. You still have a catheter needle in your hand!”
I waved my hand without looking back.
“It’s okay. I had five tubes of blood drawn before coming out today, so even if you stabbed me a few times now, I wouldn’t bleed.
“It’s been a long time since I wore anything other than hospital gowns. Red is his exclusive color. Does it make me look healthier?”
Celeste’s eyes were filled with bitterness. “It’s so ugly and tacky. You can even go on stage to perform with it.”
“You have poor taste.”
Bernard came out.
This time, he did not only come to share his experience. More importantly, he would announce Stellar Group’s new game on the spot.
After the thunderous cheers, the next second brought the sound of Bernard’s singing.
He personally sang the theme song for the new game.
“At the first glance around the corner, I met your face, only to discover the beauty of the world emerging. I love you not just for your smiling face.”
I turned around and cheered towards the camera.
“It was so beautiful. Just two lines of lyrics made me feel the romantic interaction in the game. He’s amazing!”
The fans next to me were also discussing the song.
“The lyrics are wonderful! Sierra and Bernard are simply a perfect match!”
“Immediately after Bernard and Elisa separated, his company went public! She’s a jinx! Sooner or later, she will jinx herself to death!”
Celeste turned around and shouted, “Don’t you dare say that again.”
Actually, I was closer to those people and could hear more clearly.
I reached out to grab Celeste.
But her eyes turned red from anger, and she had taken a step forward to confront the people who were speaking. “Do you have any evidence? You’re just talking nonsense here, a bunch of snobs!”
“How are you related to Elisa? Why did you speak up for that bitch?”
“Bitch, who are you talking about?”
Celeste became furious and pushed the person in front of her.
I hurriedly rushed over and hugged her, apologizing with a smile, “Sorry, it was all a misunderstanding. Elisa is just a bitch and a jinx.”
The fan sneered, “You’re quite smart. Even when playing games, Mr. Eaton would express his love for Sierra. Elisa should keep away from them as far as possible”
As soon as the words came out, the crowd suddenly screamed repeatedly.
I looked at the stage and saw a woman appearing on the big screen.
Sierra set upright in the VIP seat, wearing a high–end outfit, and greeted everyone with a smile.
She looked very elegant and refined
“Sierra! It’s Sierra!”
Bernard stood on the stage, sweetly interacting with her.

The audience became even more excited.
“Get married now! Tomorrow I wanna attend their wedding!”
Then, the camera switched, and I appeared on the big screen.
We didn’t notice that.
Celeste looked at me with concern and said, “Elisa.”
I replied with a smile, “Don’t worry about me. They are a perfect match, aren’t they? I even wanna ship them.”
“Elisa, we are the best friends. You never need to pretend in front of me, and I don’t believe you are not sad at all.”
I lowered my head in silence.
When I looked up again, my eyes were red, and I forced a smile in front of the camera.
“I’m dying. Whether I love him or not doesn’t matter anymore.”
I felt a sudden silence on the spot.
I turned my head in doubt and saw myself on the big screen. I quickly grabbed Celeste and pushed through the crowd to leave.
Bernard on the stage had already seen it.
As he looked at the familiar figure, his smile froze.
At that moment, the host happened to mention him while going through the event proceedings.
He shifted his gaze and said a few sentences in response.
When he finished answering, he looked at the big screen.
But I had disappeared.
