“That was a……good meeting” Rozella said, “but, why didn’t you sign the contract?”
“Iam still not sure. They are a new agency and I don’t want any slip up”
“Hmm, well I think you should sign the deal with them, their ideas seemed very unique.”
“Glad then nobody cares what you think.”
She was about to say something but I saw Zake running towards us before he took Rozella’s hand and went into the
elevator.
Rozella just looked at me confused with eyes widened but Zake started talking to her and the elevator door closed.
Shaking my head, I went towards my office. I opened the door and saw the chewing gum lady sitting there.
“What the fuck are you doing here?”
“I just wanted to talk to you about something.”
“If it’s about the project go on or fuck off.”
“No, it’s not about th-”
“Out!”
“But list-”
“I said, fucking out!”
“Why are you so tense? Why don’t we just….”
She came towards me and placed her bony finger on my suit and leaned against me.
I grabbed her hand rather tightly making her whimper. I was about to remove her hand from my suit and give her an earful for her entire life but just then, somebody bursted through the door and my eyes snapped in the direction
of the door.
“Sir! There is a really big emerg-…….o–oh, Oh.
Iam s–sorry.” There was Rozella standing and as soon as she saw our position she looked down.
I wanted her to meet my gaze to show her that whatever she was seeing wasn’t true, but she didn’t even glance in my direction.
I removed the brunette’s hand from me but she didn’t budge.
I wanted Rozella to look at me.

And then in a quiet voice she spoke.“C–come to the 18th floor when you’re d–done.” And with that she left.
I acted quickly and threw the leech off of my body. She fell on the floor and I looked at her with venomous eyes.
“Get. The. Fuck. Out.”
“No!”
“Care to fucking repeat that?”
“I–I said N–no.”
“GET THE FUCK OUT! before I fucking call the security and they leave your fucking ass in a dumpster!”
She hurridly got up on her feet and was beginning to leave when I thought to remind her.
“Oh, and your ass is fired off this project.”
She looked at me with widened eyes and started coming to me while begging to not fire her.
Oh, now the leech begs.
I pointed my thumb at the door and Iam sure my eyes darkened.
She clutched her wrist with tears rolling down her cheeks and just left.
Not even thinking twice, I got out of my office and went to the 18th floor where Rozella asked me to be when I was
done.
Did she really think I would stoop this low and cheat on her?
I may be rude, vile, cold, arrogant but what I wasn’t, was a cheater.
Despite my hate for Rozella, I have come to accept this marriage but I will never accept her. But that doesn’t mean I would cheat on somebody, even if it’s marriage connected through papers and not by hearts.
I got up to the 18th floor and saw Rozella and Zake jumping around with Rozella’s face full of confusion.
“Care to explain why you guys are hopping like fuckin‘ frogs?”
Zake looked at me, while Rozella froze as she had her back facing me. I walked up to stand in front of them and
looked at her but,

“Guess what just happened?” Zake said looking really excited.
“What?” I asked, clearly bored.
He cleared his throat and said, “MARIA FUCKING MOORE WAS ON THE PHONE RIGHT FUCKING NOW!” he calmed
down a little noticing people looking at us weirdly and said, “and she wants to fucking interview you……YOU!”
“That’s great.” I said in a bored tone.
I mean what’s so exciting about Maria from Maria Morning Podcasts wanting to interview me?
“Dude she’s literally an icon!” Zake exclaimed.
Rozella squealed and my eyes snapped to her as she did a lil‘ happy dance and screamed my ear off, “Does Zake James have a crush!?”
“Shhhh, babygirl we don’t want anybody to listen, now do we?”
She shook her head and put a finger on her lip.
“But can you tell me all the deets?” She said, her voice just above a whisper.
“Of course. Let’s go!” He put an arm around her shoulder and they started walking away.
I cleared my throat and they looked back. She turned around and sheepishly smiled at me, “Sir, if you don’t have any work. Can I go with Zake?”
“No, I don’t have any work but-“I got cut off by her overly hyper excited voice.
“Okay, thank you! Thank you. Toodles.”

I have never seen her so excited, over a silly crush that wasn’t even hers.
“Zake when is the interview?”
“Two weeks from now.” I nodded and they left with Rozella squealing at Zake’s ear and him trying his best to make
her shut down.
Shaking my head I went to my office to complete my left over work while thinking about why Rozella acted that way when she saw the leech and I.
