Dylan turned around and said, “Take Finley back into the room. Leave this to me.”
I nodded rather hesitantly before turning to leave. However, I realized that something was still tugging at my dress and holding me back. I looked back and saw that it was Conan.
There was a hint of gentleness in his eyes as he pleaded with me, his eyes no longer looking crazed or desolate.
“Sabrina, please, don’t abandon me. I still love you…”

Finley was still crying loudly, and what Conan said made me lose my patience even more. I looked at him coldly and said, “Conan, I think you’re stepping out of line telling me this.”
I didn’t care about the sadness and disappointment in his eyes anymore. I just nodded at him politely and said, I’m leaving.”
I then quickly hurried off with Finley as the sounds of fighting grew increasingly more intense behind me.

I could hear Dylan panting heavily as he authoritatively said, “Didn’t you want to fight earlier? Here. I’ll be your opponent!”
I was still rather doubtful when I heard him, but I quickly remembered that Joseph was still there, and he wouldn’t let Dylan get hurt anyway.
I put Finley down to sleep after returning to the room. A short while later, I heard the sound of the ambulance sirens in the background.
I quickly went over to the window to have a closer look and saw that Conan was the one being transported into the ambulance.
Queenie was standing next to the ambulance, looking shell–shocked, when she grabbed Dylan’s sleeve and wailed.
“What happened to Conan? Aren’t you his elder brother? Why did you beat him up like this?”
