“How… how is this possible?!”
“What is it, honey? Is the invitation real or she fake it? “Lila said
Kael shook his head, his voice trembling as he said, “It’s real.”
Then he turned to me, his face full of shock.
“Tell me, where did you get this invitation? Over the phone, the CEO told me that I’d handle
all the invitations, except for one special guest he’d personally invite.”
Hearing this, Lila and Noah’s expressions changed dramatically.
“Impossible! There’s no way that special guest could be Veya,” Lila said, snatching the invitation to inspect it herself.
After a moment of silence, Kael looked at me again and asked,
“Veya, what’s your relationship with the CEO of Galaxy Group? Why would he invite you specifically?”
Kael voiced the question that was on everyone’s mind.
All eyes were on me at that moment, waiting for my response.
Before I could speak, Lila interrupted harshly.
“She’s just an Omega. What else could she do but sell her body and manipulate men in bed?”
Hearing this, Noah’s face turned bright red.
“You’re such a disgrace!”
“Security! Get this shameless woman out of here!” Kael ordered loudly.
At his command, the hotel’s security quickly surrounded me, ready to escort me out.
But just as they were about to act, a commanding male voice rang out from the entrance:
“Stop!”
There, the CEO of Galaxy Group appeared, and everyone turned toward the voice.
