you,” I said, and Irene looked at Logan before looking back at me as I placed the telephone back in its position.
I crossed my legs before reaching into my handbag and getting gum
“She hit me. Logan, just like she used to do before, and here she is acting innocent. Irene said, and Logan, as if waiting for my explanation, raised his brows, but I didn’t respond. “We can’t work with her, she needs to be fired.” Irene added, and again Logan was just looking at me; it was really weird as he never waited for my side of the story, so why now?

“I’m not speaking to you, Jack!” Logan raised his voice at his uncle, “Speak when you’re spoken to.”
“Okay, sir.” Jack uncomfortably cleared his throat; it was clear Logan wanted to blame me; he always did, never listened to me even when I was his wife, but today I will teach him a lesson.
“You harassed my wife?” Logan turned toward me it sounded more like a question, and I don’t know, but his tone was doubtful.
“Is that even a question! I mean, look at me; she almost killed me.” Irene said, but Logan didn’t pay attention to her as his eyes were still

“Honey, she has nothing to say, it’s Patricia. She will never change; she will always try and hurt me. I don’t know.” She stopped as I started counting

“Oh yes, just plug it in here, I said to the guard, and he plugged the footage into my computer. I connected the screen to the TV screen, which was up on the wall, and taking the remote, I played it. “Movie time” I said as it started playing.
Everyone’s eyes turned to the screen, well, everyone except Irene, as she was looking at me, her face said it all. Of course, she knew she was going to be caught
The video played from the time Irene entered my office; there were flowers on my desk, which she trashed after reading the card. My eyes darted to the trash can for a second and saw the vase. Well, I didn’t like tulips anyway.
The video continued with me coming in and finding it, everything was shown until the time she walked to the door and bumped her face into it. I replayed that part specifically for Logan to see. I mean, I knew he knew she was lying, so I wanted to see what he would do now, especially in front of all these employees.
“Turn it off.” Irene said and spit my gum before sipping on my coffee, enjoying the show, “I said turn it off!”

I couldn’t tell if he was being sarcastic or impressed as he ran his tongue over his teeth, looking at me while I remained confident as I now raised a brow, waiting for his decision.
