I thought I always asked you to be professional; God, you can’t even do a simple job.” Florence walked in complaining to the makeup artist, “Always make sure she wears red, as it speaks to the readers; it will help keep her fans engaged, but here you are using what, pink? God, is this what we’re paying you to do?”

“Your husband called and asked me to remind you that he’s going home early today, so don’t pick him up.”

“Oh, that’s today?” I thought for a second before I asked about the CDs of Lover’s Illusion–my first book, which I had now turned into audio–1 had voice actors act it out, “I want them in my office; I will sign them after the press conference.”
“Of course, also, Mrs Lewis called asking what you would like for dinner.”
“Anything she feels, okay, we are taking Chanel’s offer, putting Victoria’s Secret for the next film, and adding Red Bottoms; their presence will benefit the both of us,” I said, which made Florence nod
The lady was now done with my makeup, so I stood up. I didn’t need to check in the mirror to see if it was good because Florence made sure I looked good; it was good, that’s why she wasn’t complaining.

“Alright, enough, no cameras–put that away!” one of the guards said, which made most of the reporters put their phones away as they now pulled out their notepads while different news companies positioned their cameras–it was going on the news, so they were allowed

Well, now it comes in audio, and before coming here, I just asked my assistant to take the CDs to my office because from here I’m going to sign them so they can be ready for you. “Who inspired you to write this story? And who’s your biggest cheerleader?”
“I always like to answer this question: okay, my inspiration comes from my experience–yes!” Another reporter raised their hand while 1 was still speaking, so I pointed to them.

“Ah, no, I don’t mean it that way, See, we authors have a way of positioning ourselves in our characters lives, so it could be that I had dream about it, imagined it, or something close, but Valeria’s story is very different from mine.”

“No, not like that: you asked about my biggest cheerleader..” I pointed to the other reporter who asked about my cheerleader, as I didn’t want to answer the other one. “Well, in a normal sense, I would say my son, but I would be lying my biggest cheerleader is my husband: he always believes in me and is the reason I had the courage to write this novel.” I said with a smile on my lips, I didn’t lie this time. Richard had been really good to me, and I knew I wouldn’t be standing here if it weren’t for him.
I answered a few more before I told them my time was up. Of course, they still had more questions; they just could never be done. Leaving the press conference, guards escorted me back to my office, and there 1 found the CDs ready on my desk just like I asked.
I took small steps toward the desk, and when I reached it, I picked one. After admiring the material, I placed it on my chest as the true story behind it replayed in my head.
