LOGAN
I couldn’t believe I was standing in front of Patricia after all these years, I couldn’t believe she was here.
I had to be sure it was really her because of the way she disappeared and this body I was seeing, so I quickly looked down at her hand; she had a birthmark on her wrist. Well, I was met with the shock of my life as the birthmark was there, confirming it was her. I looked back up at her, and she was still staring at me, clearly shocked to speak.
I don’t know what I was feeling, but my heart was racing. The thing I thought only worked when Irene was around–I mean, not that it has worked for these past years–but now, seeing her. I couldn’t believe die was making my heartbeat.
I watched as her lips parted, about to speak when a voice of a man made her turn, then a man appeared and offered his wallet. I was too confused about what was happening and didn’t like the way he looked at her.
When she left, I realized Patricia was not my wife anymore as I was about to punch the man in the face for looking at her like that.
The man led me in, and I couldn’t say no, as I wanted to be around the place where Patricia lived.
1 looked around for pictures, but there were none. With how dull the place looked, I realized she might have just moved here, as I knew Patricia’s colors, she wouldn’t live in a place with vibrant colors.
The man then stood up and excused himself, saying he was going to get the envelope. Well, I didn’t care, as I just nodded, my eyes still roaming the place.
I was lost in thoughts when the man returned with the envelope, he gave it to me, but I didn’t immediately stand, which made him say it was late and that they had just landed.
“Im looking forward to working with you,” he said, and I cleared my throat and then thanked him for the envelope before bidding him goodbye.
In my car, I quickly got my phone and called Michael.
“How did it go?” Michael asked in his usual playful tone.
“She’s been here all this while?” I asked as I started my car.
“No, she just got here.”
“And how did you know that?”
“Because I never stopped checking on her.
“My god, she’s gorgeous” I said, sounding desperate, “Her body, wow, I never knew a woman could be this sexy.” I said, which made Michael laugh. Well, there was nothing funny about it, as I wasn’t lying; the Patricia I met was a goddess. “She even made my heart skip a beat; you know I never thought I would ever feel this way about her.”
“Well, it’s too late now.”
“It’s not late, I mean, the way she was looking at me, yes, she might be a linle upset with me, but I know her. I am her first love, she can never move on. I just have to apologize, and this time I promise I will be better, God, I can’t miss that chance, having her in my arms. again, fuck.” I was getting hard just thinking of her, well, Michael, on the other end, was just laughing

“I’m sure there is information here that can’t be recovered, so better behave yourself.”

“She’s married!”
“Yes, the man I’ll be working for is her husband, you know, the son of Mr. Couper?”
“Shit I cursed as I remembered that old man, Mr. Cooper, 1 kuris him from afar, though he was one of the next viccessful businessmen in Florida who never retired. How on earthy did Patricia meet his so I anything, the man had no family—he was divorced, and his ex–wife was not even in the US, so how did she meet him?

“I’ll pick up the envelope tomorrow, I have to po now. Gaschnight.” With that, he ended the call. Well, I didn’t really care about the call at this point, as Patricia remarrying bothered me.

She left without finishing our five year contract. Well, good thing she was back, as I won’t let her go off easily this time. Her husband would be an obstacle, but that wouldn’t stop me, I will have her back; she will be back in this house where she rightfully belongs
I was going to get out of the car when I remembered I had to deal with Irene, and I honestly didn’t have the energy for her, so closing the door. I sent a text and then adjusted the seat, laid my head, and rested, I was better off here.
I don’t know when I fell asleep, but it shouldn’t be early as kept thinking of Patricia, but now hearing the tone of my phone alarm, I realized it was time to go to work
I didn’t want to go, but I had this important meeting that I couldn’t afford to miss today, so after fixing the seat, I rubbed my eyes- removing sleep from them before starting the car and driving away.
