Chapter 46: Sutton
Lucas, whose expressions were so often guarded, looked surprised. He straightened so he could face me better.
“You have to be sure, Sutton,” I insisted. “I don’t plan on making any announcements about us being mates but people will talk. Rumors are inevitable in a packhouse and it won’t take long for them to spread beyond its walls. Once that happens, not even I can contain that information.”
“I’ve been through worse than a little gossip,” I said with a shrug.
I thought about all the possible things people would be saying about us. I bit my lip as a grin spread across my face. Continuing to embrace this bold new attitude I’d found, I threw my leg over his lap.
“Sutton…” Lucas rumbled a warning, his hands immediately going to my hips. Rhonen flashed in his eyes. “Be careful, baby. You don’t know what you’re instigating.”
His reaction was encouraging. I ran my hands up his chest, hooking my hands over his strong shoulders. Leaning in close.
“I figured if people were going to be speculating if their Alpha has a new lover, we should add some truth to that.”
My mouth took Lucas‘ eagerly. He growled in response, yanking my hips closer. I could feel his length pressed firmly against me, setting my core ablaze with desire. A hand went to the base of my skull, tangling into my hair. His other hand slid up my thigh, moving beneath my dress until his thumb pressed against the wet fabric of my panties. I hissed as electricity bolted through my core. Lucas yanked my head back by my hair, his mouth going to explore along my neck.
What he did to my body was intoxicating. It made me feel pleasure in ways I never knew possible. But the hardness pressed between us and the urgency and deliberateness to his actions made me feel more desirable than I ever had in my entire life. It made me feel… wanted.

I was reminded of what had spurned this boldness in me. Grabbing the wrist that was between my legs, I pulled it back. I stopped his growl with a kiss. My tongue occupied his as my hands moved between us. I popped the button of his jeans and unzipped them, giving me the space to slip beneath his waistband.

“Don’t go further than you’re ready, Sutton,” he said in a strained voice. “I just want you. I don’t need anything else.”
His sweet assurances revived my intentions. Determination blazed to life within me as I slid my legs off his lap, lowering to my knees in front of him as I pulled him free of his jeans. My mouth watered in anticipation for what I was about to do but as my hand moved along his shaft, an inkling of doubt pushed through my resolve. I looked up and met his gaze.
“Show me…” I breathed, “what to do… what you want.”
A rumbling chuckle vibrated through his chest as his wolf flashed in his eyes. His gaze stayed fixed on me as he sank back deeper into the cushions. The way he looked at me – greedily curious it was like he was reading my mind.

My heart flipped. I swallowed as my uncertainty grew at his challenge. But the way he continued to look at me… The hint of a grin he was showing… He was telling me I knew what to do. I could rise to any challenge.
Forcing my doubts away, I leaned in. My tongue darted out, circling around the tip tentatively before I dove forward, taking him into my mouth as I abandoned my inhibitions. A low growl echoed in my ears as I moved lower, taking him deeper. I pressed my tongue to the underside of his member. My insecurities now replaced with curiosity.
I wanted to taste him. I wanted to know what every inch felt like. I tried to take him farther with each descent. I used my hand to guide me but he easily became too much. “Relax, baby,” he coaxed. Doing as he said, the walls of my throat opened, allowing him to slip in further. “That’s it. Now, swallow.” Again, I followed his instruction. Eliciting a loud moan. “Fuck, baby.”
I steadied my pace, making sure to continue what he liked. I soon found a flow, picking up a rhythm that only fed my confidence as Lucas‘ moans filled my ears. My tongue continued to explore along the way. Licking and swirling wherever it could reach. His grip on my hair tightened and his hips thrust up with my movements. My eyes began to water as it became longer between breaths but his reaction had my chest swelling with satisfaction as his grunts became louder.

“Sutton….” he cried as I felt him stiffen beneath me.
The base of his member began to swell in my hand. He grabbed it force/Holding it firmly as warmth hit my throat, coating it momentarily as I swallowed his pleasure, continuing my movements as he had for me. Only when he sank back into the couch again did I release him.
I had a triumphant smile as I looked up at Lucas. His eyes closed, sweat on his brow, his chest rising and falling quickly. But his hand still gripped mine around him. The swelling still hot and throbbing in my hand. I knew what that was.
