In the Magnolia Palace, Hugo had to make several trips to carry all the boxes up. On his last trip, he ran into Alina.

The last shred of doubt in Alina’s mind disappeared and she felt shocked.
In the living room, Quiana was playing a game with the black fuzzy slippers barely hanging on her foot. She looked laid–back and not at all like a celebrity.
“You actually managed to get into a game.” Alina twitched her mouth. “Did you really have a light with Carole, Winona, and Melody at the mall?”
“Quiana didn’t look for trouble,” Hugo grumbled. “They accused me of stealing.”

With a sigh, Alina said, “There are videos about it all over the Internet now. Luckily, you wore a mask to cover up your face wall”

The game at the mall was reported for being AFK, and Quiana lost five points. Quiana, her mood as dark as a stormy night, didn’t even bother to lift her paze as she spoke with a chilling edge. I’ve shown mercy by not taking them out. Her words hung in the air, laden with an unmistakable threat.
Alina fcit speechless to hear that. After she left, Hugo took out the box. He opened it and handed it to Quiana. Inside the box was a pair of snake–shaped earrings with sparkling and delicate son–blue gemstones.
“I thought they looked nice and wanted to give them to you.” Hugo dropped his head. “I didn’t expect things would get complicated. I’m sorry for causing you trouble.”

Without any blood relation, Quiana and Hugo grew up together and relied on each other. Quiana was found by her biological parents, but only for exploitation while Hugo was rejected by his biological sister-
Hugo couldn’t be sure whether the words the said when he pounced on Winona were from his heart or just an act, but he really wanted to ask Winona il she thought of him as a burden.
When Winona smashed down the vase in her hand, he found his answer. Anyway, he had never held any hope that she would recognize him.
Hugo bit his lip. “Mom and Dad said that if she doesn’t want to come back, the inheritance meant for her would all go to you.”
Quiana lowered her long eyelashes as she guided her game character to the safe zone. Gunfire was all around as she took down two enemies hiding on the bridge. With a grenade, she wiped out the last three enemies all at once. The game was over.
Taking the earrings Hugo bought, Quiana got up and returned to her room. “They’re all yours,” she said casually.

In the Hawley residence, Zack’s game character had died early and he had been spectating. He was stunned that the game finished so soon. Staring at number four’s 29 kills, he was in shock. “Wow, this guy is so fucking awesome.”
Nolan snorted. “See? That’s the right way to use a grenade.”
“Get lost.” Zack kicked him and went to add number four as a friend. “I’m going to take this amazing player as my teacher.”
He even sent a private message asking if number four would join the team, but number four replied with only two words: [Not interested.]
