William and Monica went in to check on their son. Tom’s condition had always been under the care of Crestview Hospital. Six years had passed, and no one had been able to cure him.
However, Quiana, who looked nothing like a doctor and was only twenty years old, managed to solve the problem with a single surgery.
Those doctors looked at Quiana as if they were seeing a miracle. “Ms. Levine.” One of the doctors couldn’t help but ask, “What medicine did you have delivered?”
Quiana leaned against the wall, looking somewhat lazy. “Life–saving pills.”
That was a surprising answer.
“Who is your mentor?” the doctor asked.
“I’m self–taught,” said Quiana.
The doctor had no idea how to continue the conversation.
Zack also felt confused. “Who exactly are you?”
Quiana shot him a sideways glance, raising an eyebrow. “Didn’t you guys already check me out thoroughly?”
Zack was momentarily speechless. He thought, ‘A simple delivery of medicine had caused such a commotion. Who would believe she came from a slum?‘
They had been waiting for the doctors to finish checking on Tom. After repeatedly running tests and confirming that the surgery was a success, William and Monica finally let out a sigh of relief.
After Monica had calmed down, she looked at Quiana with a tearful look. “Ms. Levine, I’m so sorry for what I did before. Tom is my only son, and I…”
“I understand,” Quiana replied faintly.
William immediately tore up the consent form that Quiana had signed and solemnly bowed to her. “Ms. Levine, from now on, if there’s anything the Hanson family can help you with, just let us know.”
Quiana tilted her head slightly with a faint smile on her face. “How about giving me some money?”
William was stunned but quickly responded, “Name your price, Ms. Levine. I’ll have someone transfer the amount shortly.”
With her phone sliding into her pocket, Quiana became a little more laid–back. “Just give me what seems fair,”
“Quiana,” Elliott called out. Quiana raised an eyebrow but didn’t move.
Elliott walked over, his back slightly hunched. He seemed to have aged a lot. “Carole lost her mother early and was spoiled. What she did was foolish. I apologize to you and William on her behalf.”
Elliott had lived a dignified life, but now, in his later years, he bent his back for Carole’s mistake.
William opened his mouth. He respected Elliott, but his son had nearly died because of Carole.
Quiana sneered, her gaze lazily falling on Carole who was not far away. “Does she even know what she did wrong?”
Elliott stiffened and turned to shout at Carole, “Hurry up and apologize to Mr. Hanson and Quiana!”

“No!” Carole gritted her teeth. “Quiana doesn’t deserve it!” Apologizing to Quiana was something she would never do.

Seeing that she was still stubborn, Elliott took several steps forward and slapped Sean across the face in fury, shouting, “Look at your daughter!“.
Having been punched hard by William and slapped by Elliott, Sean’s face had turned purple and swollen. He gritted his teeth and pulled Carole closer. “Go apologize now!”
“Dad, it was Quiana who tried to harm me.” Carole looked stubborn. “I’m your real granddaughter, Grandpa!”
“Then why did you try to harm my son?” Monica’s anger flared again, and she rushed over, slapping Carole across the face.
Carole let out a miserable scream, collapsing to the ground.
Monica took a deep breath. “Luckily, Ms. Levine saved my son. If anything happened to him, I swear I’d make the Wilson family pay for it with their lives!”
The matter had been resolved, and the truth was out. The doctors‘ gazes were as sharp as needles, but Quiana didn’t want to stay there any longer. She shoved her hands into her pockets and left.
As she walked past Carole, she leaned down slightly and said indifferently, “Next time, I’ll make you understand whether the Wilson family can really protect you.”
Carole recoiled, too afraid to say another word.
Quiana stepped into the elevator. Looking at her slender, cool silhouette, Elliott knew that he was not gonna make her his
student.
Julius cast a cold glance at them and said to William, “Since it’s all settled, you can handle it yourself.” He then turned and led his men into another elevator.
Hayden’s face turned pale. He knew his career was over.
