Zack had planned to use Hugo to get Quiana in the car, but Quiana just left Hugo behind. They couldn’t just ditch Hugo, so Zack was pretty frustrated the whole ride.
Meanwhile, Hugo was in awe of everything, going on about how “Luxury cars are the bomb!”
Zack looked at the gloomy Julius next to him and moved to sit by Hugo, casually asking. “You and Quiana, you’ve always lived in the slums, right?”
Hugo nodded. “Yeah.”
Zack’s eyes lit up, “Quiana got recognized by the Larson family, So Winona’s really your sis, right?” That Larson family’s game might fool others, but not them.
Hugo nodded again.
Nolan was curious too. “Aren’t you bothered that Winona doesn’t acknowledge you?”
Hugo was puzzled. “Why would I be?”
Nolan was speechless.
Listening to Zack’s empty chatter, Julius looked down at his legs under the blanket, his eyes full of a dark mystery.
“Whoa!” Zack suddenly yelled, making Leo, who was driving, almost swerve off course.
Julius raised an eyebrow and glanced at Zack, his eyes cold.
“It–it–it… Zack squeezed next to Nolan and pointed at the cat carrier in Hugo’s hand, completely freaked out and stuttering. “A wolf! There’s a wolf in there!”
“What wolf? How could there be a wolf in a cat carrier? Zack, you’re tripping.” Nolan said, pressed against the window.
“No! I saw them, those eyes, green and fierce!” Zack had just taken a peek and got a serious scare.
Julius’s gaze shifted to the cat carrier. Through the clear glass, he could see wild, fierce green eyes glaring at him. A flash of pure white fur was visible. His lips, pale as ice, moved as he said calmly, “It’s a purebred snow wolf pup.”
Nolan was shocked too. “No way, it’s really a wolf?”
This is my baby.” Hugo held the cat carrier closely, like he was afraid someone would grab it, his eyes serious. “It’s a good
wolf.”
A howl came from the cat carrier, the creature cozy inside. Its green eyes fixed on Julius.
They all thought Hugo was carrying a cat in that carrier. But it turned out to be a wolf. Even if it was a cub, no matter how tame, it was still a wolf. Nolan and Zack remained still.
What shocked them more was that Hugo was nice years only and he was raising a wolf and carrying it around.
Hugo pouted and mumbled, “Making a mountain out of a molchill”
Zack never thought he’d be dissed by a nine–year–old in his life.

Quiana thought of the brief smirk Winona had as she left the set. Turned out Winona ratted her out. Quiana leaned back, smiling coolly “I’m a special guest actor for the crew”
“You? A special guest actor?” Xavier laughed with disdain and contempt. “Quiana, I’m warning you, keep those sneaky, malicious thoughts to yourself, get off the set now, and stay away from Winona, or you’ll be sorry! With that, he hung up.
Quiana’s eyes sparkled with coldness, a smirk playing on her lips as she quickly blocked the number. The next moment, another call came through. It was Mandy.
Mandy started off gently. “Winona mentioned you joined a film set?”
Quiana’s voice was flat. “I did.”
Mandy’s voice immediately turned stern. “Quiana, you’re the Larson heiress now, not some poor girl from the slums. What are you doing on a movie set? Get back here right away!”
Quiana raised an eyebrow. “If Winona can go, why can’t I?”
