“Quiana, aren’t we going to speed up?” Sofia asked, panting, as she saw Quiana still running calmly and steadily.
Quiana kept her breathing steady and responded with a light smile. “Why rush?”
“If we don’t run faster, Lucy will win first place!”
“So, let her have it
“But if she gets first, Viola and the others will just use it as an excuse to mock you!”
Viola and her group had been fawning over Lucy all along as she had connections in the entertainment industry. They had never missed a chance to target Quiana. It was just a girl group selection show, but they acted like it was some royal selection
“Does it matter? Quiana replied, seeming unconcerned.
Sofia grew more impatient after seeing her laid–back attitude. She said. “Ugh! You’ve been number one since you got here And even took first place in the debut performance! If Lucy wins this, they’re definitely going to throw shade and mock you!”
“You two are fast runners,” Wendy said, finally catching up. Upon noticing that Quiana’s forehead was clean and sweat–free, she paused in surprise, saying, “Quiana, you’re not even sweating?
Quiana said leisurely, “I don’t sweat much.”
It made sense. But while everyone else was staggering and panting, pushing themselves to their limits, the girls scattered along the road looked like a swarm of zombies, swaying unsteadily as they trudged forward.
And Quiana? She had not a bead of sweat, not even the slightest hint of panting.
Wendy stared for a moment, then glanced ahead to see Lucy, still in first place but now visibly slowing, her steps faltering. She was almost out of energy-
Wendy whispered, “Quiana, can you pass her?”
Quiana raised an eyebrow and asked, “Why should I?”
“For first place!” Wendy said matter–of–factly. Sofia nodded in agreement.
Quiana glanced sideways at the two, tilting her head. “You want me to take first?” she asked.
Wendy rubbed her nose and said, “I just passed by Viola and her group–they’re all betting on Lucy to win first.”
She ignored the part where Viola and the others were sarcastically mocking Quiana.
Sofia got fired up, saying, “Quiana, if you’ve still got the energy, go for it! Even if it’s just to prove you can!”
The two, who were almost out of breath, were still trying to motivate Quiana,
Suddenly, Quiana stopped in her tracks.
Both Sofia and Wendy halted, puzzled. “Huh? Are you too tired?” they asked.
Wendy wiped her forehead, hands on her knees, gasping, “Can’t you run anymore?” she asked.
Quiana gazed ahead, catching sight of the training camp in the distance. With a relaxed twist of her wrists and ankles, she said nonchalantly, “Don’t worry.”

Quiana tilted her head, a hint of rebellion in her eyes, lips curling mischievously. She squinted and replied in a relaxed tone, “Me? I’ll get first place for you.
“What?” Wendy and Sofia exclaimed. They were taken aback. Before they could fully register, Quiana suddenly crouched down, assuming a starting position. It looked perfectly standard.
“What’s she doing?
“Is she casting a spell or something?
“Just decided to start now? Has she been running so long her brain’s fried?”
Several girls running slowly past glanced over and whispered to themselves.
“You–Ah!” Wendy hadn’t even finished her sentence when she saw Quiana spring forward with explosive speed, whipping up a gust that nearly blew over the exhausted Sofia. By the time they looked up, she was gone.
“Uh… The two were bewildered.
The girls around them who had just been mocking her looked ahead, eyes widening, jaws dropping.
“Was that Quiana just now?” someone asked.
