What Kind Of Game is
At the hospital.
Serena paced angrily. “You’re an award–winning actress, for heaven’s sakel Lowering your standards to take on a web series was already enough of a stretch, but after two weeks and a serious injury, they canceled the whole production? Do they have any respect for you?”
Evelyn looked at the trending news, her lips prassed into a thin line. “Canceling it might actually be a good thing. Quiana and Winona don’t get along. they’d kept filming, things would’ve only gotten worse.”
The bintment Quiana had left her was miraculous. Her injury was healing fast, and even the scars began fading.
Aside from feeling a bit down about not being able to help Quiana with this film, Evelyn had no thoughts on the crew breaking up.
“But it makes you look like a joke,” Serena grumbled. “No way I’ll make sure we file a lawsuit. They breached the contract, and we’re getting your pay and compensation!”
Evelyn frowned. “Don’t make too much of a fuss”
“Relax, Dylan will definitely be suing too, so we’ll keep it reasonable.”
Dylan was the show’s male lead. He’d taken time off to attend a promotional event while Evelyn was in the hospital, only to return and find out the entire project had been scrapped.
When his agent told Dylan the news, he sat there in stunned silence, processing the abrupt end.
In the office at Stellar Entertainment
Winston stared blankly at his Instagram feed. “What kind of move even is this?”
“You won’t understand the thoughts of the big shots,” Alina sighed. “Neither do I.”
Alina hadn’t understood Quiana before and certainly didn’t understand her now.
And then there was Julius–someone so elusive with a fearsome reputation and rumors about his health constantly swirling.
Every so often, there’d be a rumor that Julius had passed away, only for it to be disproven. But this year, he’d been acting anything but low–key
A message notification popped up on WhatsApp.
Quina: I haven’t even made you all rich yet, and you’re already talking about quitting?
It was a response to Alina’s message from will you do? Become a forensic expert?)
our ago: Since the crew disbanded, you’re not planning to leave showbiz, are you? If you quit, what
The group chat pinged too, with a message from Hugo: I told you from the start that this production wasn’t worthy of my sister.]
Alina rubbed her temples, then took a few screenshots of the latest trending posts and sent them to the group: Neither of you are concerned about reputation at all, are you?]
The posts were full of insults aimed at Quiana.
[Since she joined, that crew has had nothing but trouble.]

Chapter 84
Looks like Quiana’s nothing but bad luck!)
I waited so long for this show, and now it’s canceled just like that? Quiana, how are you going to make up for me?
[Quiana, get out of the showbiz!)
[She’s nothing but a seductress!]

Quiana really didn’t care about any of it. She walked out of the movie set with her backpack, hands in her pockets.
Her stride was bold and carefree as if she owned the world. She hummed a tune under her breath, clearly unbothered by the chaos left behind.
Julius kept pace beside her in his wheelchair. “In a good mood?”
Quiana popped a mint into her mouth, shrugging. “Not bad.”
Julius raised an eyebrow, “Because you made off with my money?”
Quiana tilted her head. “Something like that
He chuckled. “Fond of money, are you?”
She shot him a sidelong glance.
“Who isn’t?”
Money’s the one thing that’ll never betray you.
Julius’s dark eyes gleamed with amusement, his voice low and smooth, “Marry me, and all of it will be yours.”
Quiana smirked, eyes gleaming with mischief as she looked him up and down, her gaze settling on his legs, “What, selling yourself to me? Hate to break it to you, Mr. Hawley, but I’m not sure you could handle it.”
Julius raised a brow and lifted the blanket covering his legs. “Want to check for yourself?”
Quiana glanced down, arching an eyebrow, clearly unimpressed. “Men as if I don’t have enough of them.”
Zack and Leo, following behind, exchanged a look. What kind of wild talk is this?
Julius coolly pulled the blanket back over his legs. “Well, since you have plenty, you wouldn’t mind adding one more,
would
dyou?”
Quiana appeared to give it some serious thought. “Alright, how about this? I marry you today, and you kick the bucket tomorrow, leaving me your entire fortune.”
That’s not entirely off the table,” Julius chuckled, giving it some thought. “How about we go make it official right now?”
