Ian was hunched over the floor as he broke down in tears. A brief moment later, one of the maids mustered the courage to step forward while carrying an urn.
“Mr. Ian, this is most likely Ms. Rebecca’s ashes.”
Jan was still clinging onto the last sliver of hope that I might still be alive. He corrected her in a stern voice, “What do you mean that’s most likely Rebecca? Rebecca Haldeman, our little sister, is just missing. She’s not dead!”
Just then, another maid came forward. She slowly handed a report with the DNA test results to Ian.

“Mr. Ian, when Mr. Harry had asked us to burn the body, we took the liberty to send some samples for a DNA test. The DNA test report indicated that the body was indeed Ms. Rebecca. Please accept our heartfelt condolences, Mr. Ian.”
Ian froze to the spot.
With a blank look on his face, Ian stood in the same spot for more than ten minutes, unmoving. Then, his gaze fell on Lorelei, who was subdued by the maids.
“Bring me everything you can find on that wench now. Earlier, Will said that you framed Rebecca?”

Lorelei started struggling. “Ian, I’m innocent. It’s not my fault Rebecca died.‘
Lorelei’s phone contained evidence of her framing me on multiple occasions.
Soon enough, Ian received various items that were found on Lorelei. He looked through those things quickly and turned on Lorelei’s phone.
His face darkened instantly. Ian kicked Lorelei in the face the next instant.
Not long after that, Will and Harry arrived home.
As soon as they got there, they saw Lorelei, who was held down by the maids and seemed like she was barely breathing. Beside them, Ian stood there with his red,
teary eyes.
“Ian, what are you doing? Why did you beat Lori up like that?” Harry shouted aloud.
Will lowered his gaze. His eyes blazed with fury as he stared at Lorelei.
