The Jackman family’s attitude was revolting. Brittany swore that when Dominick arrived, she’d ask him to put them in their place.
As they spoke, a waiter knocked on the door and entered. “There’s a guest here.”
Thinking Dominick had arrived, Gregory stood up quickly, ready to greet him. But when the door opened, it wasn’t Dominick. Instead, a group of strangers entered.
“Who are you?” Gregory asked, visibly disappointed.

Hearing this, Gregory nodded and sat back down. They were just Brittany’s colleagues not important enough to greet personally.
Brittany, however, didn’t bother showing any courtesy. Instead, she pointed arrogantly to the table behind the main one.

He speculated that this might include the mysterious backer supporting her career. Despite his reluctance, he decided to come and see who this powerful figure might be.
“Gary, now that we’re here, should we let Nion know?” the assistant director asked.

The Jackman family members were surprised to see the production crew present. While most of them weren’t interested in the entertainment industry, Marianne occasionally watched movies and TV dramas. She immediately recognized Gary.
“Hey, isn’t that Gary Anderson? Do you guys know him?” she asked.
Christina’s mood instantly brightened, her earlier gloom replaced with pride. “Of course! Brittany is about to star in his show as the lead actress.”
“Really?” Marianne’s eyes sparkled with admiration as she looked at Brittany. Even her attitude toward Gregory and Christina softened, with less of the previous condescension.
Keith and Baron also realized that Brittany’s achievements, coupled with her boyfriend and rising stardom, made it clear she wouldn’t be considering Baron.
However, with all these additional guests in the room, Keith grew frustrated. “Why are there so many irrelevant people?”
Gregory Chuckled, finally feeling like he was regaining control of the situation. “Don’t worry. I’ve reserved a small private room next door. Your son and Paisley can talk privately there and get to know each other.”
