Chapter 128 A Hook–up in the Car?!
Suddenly, a man in polished, sharp–toe leather shoes stepped into Yvette’s path.
She looked up and saw that vile Bobby standing in her way.
Finished
Bobby stood there with his arms crossed leisurely over his chest. A faint, mocking smile played at his lips as he watched her.
Yvette frowned, the distaste in her gaze undisguised. “A well–behaved dog knows when to stay out of the way, she said coldly.
Bobby clicked his tongue with his tone dripping with insolence.
“You’ve been on your feet all day, little beauty,” Bobby drawled, “Why not let me take care of you?”
Yvette let out a cold laugh, her eyes sweeping over him with disdain. “Men and their lying tongues. If you’re going to run a con, at least pick someone stupid enough to fall for it. Me? I’m out of your league, remember?”
Without waiting for a reaction, she sidestepped, intending to walk around him, but Bobby’s large hand shot out, blocking her way once more.
“Hey, lady,” he said, his voice taking on a lazy arrogance. “I’m interested in you, I think we should be friends.” In his eyes was the kind of pride that made Yvette’s stomach turn. As if he were doing her a favor just by looking her way
Yvette halted, shooting him a sharp glare. “First of all, my name’s not lady: Second, I don’t make friends with Trevor’s friends”
The second the words landed, Bobby’s expression darkened. He bristled like a dog provoked.
“What’s wrong with Trevor?!” He snapped. “Trevor took a liking to Summer, and that’s her blessing! You should talk somet sense into your liule girlfriend. Tell her to stop playing hard to get and crawl back while she still can!”
Yvette’s lips curled in a cold smile. “Is that so?”
Before Bobby could react, she raised one sharp stiletto heel and drove it down hard onto his polished leather shoe.
“Ah!”
The pain shot up his leg instantly, and Bobby hopped back on one foot, clutching his shoe, his eyes red with fury.
“You crazy bitch! I’ll make sure you regret this!”
Yvette gave
him a look of pure scorn.
“Let me tell you something. Summer is with the Fraser now. So why don’t you and Trevor stay as far away from her as possible?”
With that, she turned on her heel and strode away, not sparing Bobby another glance..
Bobby stood there, head cocked in disbelief.
Did I hear her right? Is Summer with Fraser now? That woman had actually managed to climb into the Fraser’s bed?!
In the underground parking lot. Summer stepped out of the elevator.
An extended black Ressug–Resemog was parked nearby. It was bold and imposing, as if announcing to the world exactly who it belonged to
A driver stood respectfully by the rear door, holding it open.
Chapter 128 A Hook–up in the Car?!
Summer hesitated. She stood there for a moment, uneasy
The words she had thrown at Trevor earlier echoed back. Her cheeks burned.
He’s not going to suggest a hookup in the car, is he?
The driver’s silent, dutiful gaze landed on her. Summer bit her lip, then took a deep breath and got in.
The door closed behind her with a soft click. The driver retreated a few steps, waiting silently in the distante..
Inside the car, the world was quiet. Fraser sat back lazily in the leather seat, his eyes closed as if resting
Finished
The faint glow of the overhead lights skimmed his chiseled features. He had sharp brows, a strong jaw, and a few buttons on his collar left undone, revealing the smooth lines of his throat and collarbone. He looked wild, dangerous, and far too tempting
Summer could not help stealing a few glances. She hated to admit it, but Fraser was exactly her type.
After a while, Fraser slowly opened his long, dark eyes. His voice was lazy, low, and rough as it echoed through the car cabin. “Like what you see?”
Summer froze, caught staring, too late to look away. She crashed into his gaze so suddenly, so unexpectedly, that her heart missed a beat.
Flustered, she turned her head away, like a student caught daydreaming by the teacher. Embarrassment crept up her cheeks.
How could this man be so sharp, even with his eyes closed?
Summer pressed her lips together and forced herself to stare straight ahead, pretending nothing had happened.
But Fraser’s eyes lingered on her pale face, trailing down to the delicate curve of her ear, now tinged with a faint blush. He could not resist. He reached out and gave her soft earlobe a gentle pinch.
The man’s fingertips were cool, but the moment they brushed her skin, it was as if a jolt of electricity ran through her. Summer’s ear tingled; an odd shiver coursed down her spine.
“You called me here for something?” she asked stiffly, trying to maintain composure.
Fraser’s dark gaze stayed locked on her. His voice dropped low, rough with a teasing edge. “Sleep with me.”
Summer’s face turned red in an instant.
This man is shameless!
Without thinking. Summer pressed her legs tightly together, her voice wobbling slightly. “Here There are people coming and going. I don’t think it’s a good idea.”
“What’s not good about it?”
neet his eye
A lazy smirk tugged at Fraser’s lips. He reached out, his finger hooking under her delicate chin, forcing her to meet “You said it yourself. Whatever I want.”
Summer shrank back, pressing against the car door, one hand braced against his chest to keep some distance between them. “Don’t come any closer.”
Fraser chuckled, the sound low and rich. “Scaredy–cat
And with that, he lay back casually, resting his head on her lap. His long legs stretched out, crossing lazily at the ankles.
“Ms. Stewart, is that all you ever think about?”
