Chapter 129 Summer Piglet

What a petty little thing

With his eyes still closed, Fraser’s voice was tinged with a hint of drowsiness. I can’t satisfy you today. If you really can’t hold back, you could always help yourself.”

Summer’s bright eyes widened in disbelief. She gritted out each word through clenched teeth. Tm not that desperate!”

As soon as she finished, she huffed and turned her head away in indignation

After a while, the interior of the car settled into a calm, steady rhythm, filled only with the sound of soft, even breathing. The narrow space seemed to shut out all the chaos of the outside world, leaving a rare, peaceful quiet

Summer lowered her gaze. It landed on Fraser’s face, striking and flawless even in sleep. Without that usual edge of cold arrogance, he seemed much more approachable, almost harmless

Summer’s eyes lingered on the faint shadows under his lashes

Was he exhausted fately

Before she realized it, her hand reached out, hovering close to his face. But the moment her fingertips brushed the sharp strands of his hair, she jerked back as if electrocuted

For half a month, Summer had sat with her decision in silence. She thought she had her answer about their relationship. But now, at this moment, staring at this man so close she could feel his breath. She thought, maybenext time

Summer slowly drifted awake. Her sleepy eyes blinked open, only to realize she had somehow dozed off too

And now, they had swapped positions. She was lying on Fraser’s lap

He held a phone in one hand, busy handling work. The shifting glow of the screen flickered across the sharp lines of his face, painting his features in shadows and light

Hearing her stir, Fraser set his phone aside and gave her a long, deep look

You’re awake?”

Summer sat up quickly, a little flustered. When did I fall asleep?”

Fraser’s voice was low and magnetic, laced with amusement. Weren’t you the one who said you’d keep me company? And then you passed out like a little piglet, What a big shot.” He smirked. Maybe I should just call you Summer Piglet.”

I’m not! You could’ve woken me up.”

Summer looked up and met his dark, smoldering gaze. Those eyes, they were like the deep sea at midnight, swirling with hidden tides

Inside the confined car, the air seemed to heat by the second. She licked her lips unconsciously; her throat was dry. Her body felt warm. Maybe it was because she had just woken up

I should go”

Fraser raised his eyebrow

Just as Summer reached for the door, his arm curled around her slender waist, pulling her firmly back into his lap

Summer Piglet, you’re just going to leave like that?”

Chapter 129 Summer Piglet

Finished

Fraser’s lips brushed against the delicate curve of her cheek. His breath was hot, grazing her skin like a brand. Fingers traced her jaw lightly before his teeth found her ear, and he bit down not quite gently

It hurts!”

Her soft, breathy complaint came out more like a whimper, carrying an unintentional note of sweetness. The sound sent a jolt through Fraser’s body, his muscles tense, desire coiled tight

Fraser’s gaze darkened even further. If you know it hurts, he murmured, his voice dangerously low, then be nice

Spare me the pointless words that only served to provoke me

The warning had barely left his lips when he reached out, his fingers tilting her chin toward him. His eyes were deep and intense, a turbulent storm barely held in check. And then he crushed his mouth down on hers, the kiss rough and uncontrollable, devouring her softness without restraint

The familiar scent of his cologne and the raw masculinity of his presence filled the car, surrounding Summer, leaving her nowhere to hide

She could not stop herself from drowning in his kiss. His skillful lips drew her in deeper, until her hands curved lightly around his neck, her body instinctively leaning closer

It was a deep, lingering French kiss, searing and overwhelming, one that stole all the air from her lungs

By the time Fraser finally pulled away, they were both breathless. His restraint had clearly been pushed to the brink, danger simmering just beneath his skin

He ran a hand through her long hair, smoothing it as if trying to soothe himself. I’ve got a flight later,he said, voice still husky. If I didn’t, I’d have taken you right here

Summer blinked up at him, her eyes still hazy. A business trip?”

The last time, Fraser had cut a weeklong trip down to four days just to be back in time for her birthday. But there were still unresolved matters at their US. branch and some followups he could not put off

Fraser’s dark eyes glinted with a wicked gleam as his lips curved into a faint, lazy smirk, dangerously seductive, What? You can’t bear to let me go? Why don’t you come with me then?”

Summer snapped back to her senses at his teasing tone. The air between them was still charged with something electric, something heated. She forced herself to scoff, looking away. If you want to go, then go. What do I care?”

Fraser chuckled, the sound low and indulgent. Summer Piglet he said, his voice laced with amusement. while I’m gone, you better behave yourself. If anything happens, call me first

Inside one of the private VIP rooms at The Qube, the floor was littered with empty, highend liquor bottles scattered around

Trevor sat slouched on the leather sofa, his eyes bloodshot from too much alcohol, an súra of icecold fury radiating from him. Just being near him was enough to chill someone to the bone.

He gripped a bottle of whiskey in one hand, pouring another full glass of the burning liquor without a second thought. His head pounded, but he did not care

He tilted his head back and downed it as if it were water. The liquid scalded all the way down, burning a fiery path to his gut. leaving behind only pain

When the glass was empty, Trevor flung it hard across the room

The door creaked open at that moment, and Bobby stepped inside. Just in time to almost get hit. He jumped back with a startled curse as the glass narrowly missed his most vital parts

th a sharp crash, the glass shattered against the door, pieces scattering like ice crystals across the floor
