Chapter 153 Michelle Fine Jewel
After Summer left Ravenshire Boulevard, she recalled that Sienna had asked her for dinner.
Suddenly, because of this woman, her mood was thrown into turmoil, and Summer almost forgot about this matter.
There was a small restaurant near Havenbrook Averfield University. By the time Summer rushed over, Sienna had already ordered the food.
Sienna had short, sleek hair and was dressed in a white blouse and a gray work skirt–a typical professional woman’s outfit. But she had never dressed like this before. “Summer, are you sure you really want to join my design studio?”
Summer stirred her lemonade and looked at her. “Yeah.”
“The Stewart family’s business has expanded quite a bit, and you even made it to the director position. Why would you come
to me?”
e left the Stewart family,” Summer said. “Are you not welcoming me?”
Sienna felt a bit self–conscious. I’m just afraid you’ll look down on me. You know… I haven’t been doing too well.”
Saying “not too well was putting it mildly. It was actually pretty bad.
Sienna recalled the past.
“When we were in college, it was always the three of us–you. Yvette, and me. Back then, I was the one with the best family background, but now, I’ve ended up being the one in the worst shape.
Sienna had grown up in a wealthy family as an only child. By her sophomore year, she had already gone abroad to study in Oblistan. But then she married a scumbag. Mason Aldridge. That bastard took all of her family’s assets, leaving her and her parents with nothing.
Even her design studio was on the verge of collapse due to a lack of connections.
Summer held her hand. “Sienna, I’m changing careers anyway, and I was already planning to start my own design firm. You’re already doing it, so wouldn’t it be better if we worked together?”
Back in college, Sienna had always stood up for Summer and Yvene, who were from less privileged backgrounds, and often helped them out financially. It was only after she went abroad that they slowly lost touch.
Sienna lowered her head and whispered, “This isn’t really a company…” She was just a one–woman operation. Her only employee was a fresh graduate working as a low–paid assistant. “If you’re only doing this because you pity me, there’s no
need.”
“Sienna, you’re overthinking it. I’m a businesswoman too. Since I’m investing money in this, of course, I want to make something of it
Hearing this, Sienna took a napkin and dabbed at the slight sting in her nose
“Summer, thank you for joining me. You have no idea how much I’ve come to understand human nature ever since my family went bankrupt.”
Yvette used to say there was a gap between me and you two, and I never believed her. But after experiencing what you both went through, I realized how shallow I was.”
“Sienna, don’t say that. Back then, you never looked down on me and Yvette. And you know how Yvette is… She can be sharp- tongued, but she’s always considered you a good friend. Otherwise, she wouldn’t have come to you first when she needed. money for a contract termination to switch agents.”
Sienna finally smiled through her tears. “Alright, let’s toast to our future business.”

Her eyes widened ‘Summer, is that… a gift from your boyfriend?”
Summer lowered her gaze slightly and replied blandly. “A friend.”
“A friend? No way! A friend wouldn’t give you such an expensive bracelet. It must be a male friend who likes you.”
Finished
Sienna had grown up in high society. Even though her family had gone bankrupt, she still had a solid understanding of luxury brands.
“Do you know how much that bracelet costs?”
“At least this much. Sienna exaggeratedly held up eight fingers.
“Summer, do you even need to start a business? You could just sell it and open a high–end design firm right away.”
Summer was stunned by the number. She knew Fraser wouldn’t give her anything cheap, but this was beyond her expectations. Her wrist suddenly felt as heavy as a thousand pounds.
I saw this in a magazine once. I think it’s a limited edition from the Belvare brand, Michelle Fine Jewel. Their high–end jewelry pieces are all one–of–a–kind. More importantly, do you know what a sapphire symbolizes?”
Summer shook her head.
Sienna’s eyes sparkled. “In ancient Graes, it represented loyalty, love, and devotion.”
Hearing that, Summer’s eyelashes trembled slightly. But she immediately dismissed the thought. She recalled how casually Fraser had treated the bracelet yesterday. When she refused it, he had even been ready to throw it away.
He probably had no idea about the meaning behind sapphires. It must have just been a random purchase.
